Cheap...
By Heather, 5/15/12
CONS...No ice machine, smaller bed very worn, dirty. Very outdated. No phones in room. No one is ever at the front desk. Seriously over priced We should have kept driving. PROS.... Good parking, close to downtown Nampa. Restaurant attached.

PERFECT!!!!!!!
By Dezarae Schmierer, 4/25/12
very clean comfortable environment, friendly staff, would have to say is one of the best affordable hotels in the Nampa area. No mold in bathrooms, fully functional shower head and tub. working sink and toilet. couldn't ask for a better place to stay. LOVE THIS PLACE! Definately would recomend for someone looking to save money.

Dirty and Disgusting!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/10/12
I don't even know what to say. Mold in bathroom, handle in shower fell off, shower curtain stained with body oil. Shower walls were so gross, i was scared to touch them. Everything is out dated. Bed was on a wood platform that some one put together and painted. Pillows were stained yellow, and gross. Smelled like dog in the room. No phone or coffee pot. Blinds and windows were dirty. Wasn't vacuumed behind the night stand. And on and on...... How could this have a 4 star rating? I wouldn't even give it 1 star.

Never Ever go here!!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/21/11
I think the other reviews were done by the employees. What a dump. Said it was a queen bed, there is NO WAY it was a queen. Carpet stained, torn. Mildew in bathroom. People upstairs up til 3am thumping around and they got up at 7 am!! never slept. Pillows flat, no phone in room or phone book. no coffee pot. sprinkler system an after thought, plumming on out side of wall and sprinkler heads mounded on them. Extention cords to plug in the TV and fridge. Not to safe I think. Was afraid to walk around barefoot on floors. BUT the mexican rest attached to the front was WONDERFUL. Great place to eat. El Rodeo.

Great Deal!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/15/11
What a great deal! I spent $179 for a week. Rooms were great as the service. It was very quiet and a comfortable atmosphere. Couldn't have had a better stay while in town on business. Thanks for your hard work!

Fantastic value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/28/11
Great value for money. The room was spotlessly clean and very large with a fridge and microwave the only disappointment would be that there was no kettle or coffee maker, but we found one by asking the staff at the front desk. The manager was very helpful and gave us the best directions for getting into Caldwell when we left, she even offered to print off directions to our next hotel. The breakfast was coffee and sweet rolls. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for somewhere clean and comfortable to stay when visiting Treasure Valley.

Excellent Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/15/11
I had been driving all night and was unfamiliar with Nampa and needed a place to stay for the night. I called the Downtown Inn and talked to a guy named Mike. He was very friendly and helped me with directions. I didn't realize it at the time but by the time I got there the front desk should've been closed but he waited until I arrived. He went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed before he left for the night. I've never met anyone who seemed to care so much about the people he does business with.

Great Place
By James, 10/15/11
I guess you can say that first impressions are not always right and mine wasn't. Okay, if your the owner the front window needs to go. Makes it feel very unsafe when you first walk it. Or is it?? Right away i spoke to a guy named Mike. He was very helpful, in so many ways. He helped us carry our luggage to our room. Who does that anymore?? Our room, a little run down but clean and great for what we spent. We did not get to meet the maids but I'm sure they were great. We were passing through geocaching. Wow and the guy and the front desk knew exactly what we were doing. Thanks for the great stay and keep up the good work.

First Time Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/8/11
This was the first hotel my wife and I saw traveling through Nampa. The first impression wasnt that great. Lobby was very odd. Its has a small window where you check in and i could barely see the gentleman behind the desk, which made me want to leave. Its just not very personable. The owner was very friendly, fixed my gps for me, which was a life saver. The rooms were older but clean, and looked as if there were in the process of doing some remodeling. It was very quiet and comfortable. Thanks.

A Value Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/5/11
The Downtown Inn is a value hotel. Very reasonable rates for a basic place to stay in downtown Nampa. You have several restaurants within walking/strolling distance as well as a few dozen places (movies and shopping opportunities) within 5-6 minutes drive. For more coffee you just ask at the desk. Someone was always available when I range the bell. Overall, I found it clean if a little worn but the price was right.
