Friendly Staff good location and pet friendly

The staff was very friendly, it was a great place to stay if travelling with pets. Room was clean and they provided a small frig. Would stay there again.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY

All rooms face the lovely to look at river and are very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and polite. The complimentary breakfast in a basket brought to your room each morning is a great way to start your day. Construction in area makes it a bit messy at times but don't let that make this great place something you may pass up. We stayed for 3 nights and will positively go back again and again. Within walking distance to the river walk and downtown restaurants, attractions and great shops. We couldn't be happier with our stay.

Great Stay

I stayed at this hotel last week... The staff at the desk was very helpful and went out of their way to ensure that our stay was memorable. I stayed for 2 days and was greeted by the friendlist housekeeper ever, who cleaned my room and made sure I didnt need anything. I recomend everyone give this place a try... you wont be dissapointed!

I submit photographs to a magazine, and they were having an article on Wilmington. I was looking for some place close to down town near the water, and this was it. The rooms are on the small side, but very clean. The river was right outside my window, and there is a wooden walkway that takes you to the waters edge, right out the back door of the hotel. We liked the breakfest brought right to the room. The only down side was making sure we were up on time to receive it. Again the space to eat was very tight, and I could see that a family with small children might have a problem. My wife sat on a chair, while I had to sit on the edge of the bed. There was a good selection of food to pick from and again we liked it. The staff pointed out places that were good to eat, and you are very close to the down town area. This is a good thing as what I soon found was that it is hard to find parking down town on the street. But you are close enough to down town that you can walk. I made several trips from the hotel through the down town area taking pictures. This was a great value for the money, and when ever I get back to Wilmington, this would be the first place I would try and get a room.

Only place we stay

We have stayed here twice and have always had a great room and service. This is the hotel I stayed at during my leave from a overseas military deployment. Great location, Main street with in walking distance. This is the only place we will stay and cant wait to go back this summer.

Amazing!

I went over to Wilmington back in March and stayed at this hotel and it's amazing. The staff was also very helpful and gave me maps of everything I needed to get to. The room had a beautiful view of the river. Was clean and the shower was a glass walk in so it made me feel more comfortable than most hotels. It's located right next to everything in downtown Wilmington so that's a plus.

Smells Like Mold

The staff was warm and helpful. That said- we switched rooms three times, trying to find a room without a pervasive moldy smell and what appeared to be mold on the ceilings. The decor could use an update for sure. Windows in rooms did not open. The general cleanliness is questionable. If we hadnt been exhausted we would have changed hotels. The staff was very understanding and pleasant, but this hotel needs work. I have never had luck with Best Westerns and thought I would try again, but I wont be going back to a Best Western any time soon. Spend the extra $40.00 and stay at the Hilton. Wilmington is a wonderful city to explore.

Beautiful Hotel

We loved our 2 night stay at the Coast Line Inn, I wish we could of stayed longer. I believe it has to be one of the quietest hotels we have ever stayed in. Was wonderful!

limited service 5 star price location

I usually stay at the hilton next door but they were full. The hotel does not offer room service or have a restaurant. Its riverfront location, proximity to the beutiful historic district and lower cost more than make up for it. it is a steal for the money.
