Topaz Motel, Flagler Beach

We stayed at the topaz motel from dec. 2011 till feb. 2012 we loved everything about it. All of the office help was friendly and went out of their way to help you as for the owner Mike he was one of a kind, very friendly and was there whenever you needed him we really want to go back next year. The rooms were very clean and the housekeepers were excellent. We miss everyone.

We stayed at this motel because it was on the beach and there was a discount coupon in one of the hotel guides we picked up at the Florida welcome center. $49 a night for a place on the beach should be enough of a warning. We got a room on the first floor since they didn't have any more rooms on the second floor with working locks. The cloor in the room was tile. I assume this is due to the possibility of flooding during bad storms, but it makes the room cold. The beds were at least 3 feet off the floor and the sheets didn't fit the mattresses. The sofa (loveseat) was filthy. We used a towel to cover the seat so our daughter could sit on it. The bedding and bathroom seemed clean. I would not stay here again.

This is such a great place to stay, right across the street from the beach. Clean & comfortable room. Its hard enough to find places that allow our furry children, this place is great. Staff was so very friendly when you spoke with them. The grounds are extremely clean, the pool was clean and very refreshing. We will most def. be returning. Nice peacfule family oriented establishment away from all the high rise chaos of say Daytona ect.... for a relaxing beach trip this is the place to stay.

Just spent a week here and loved every minute. Staff is great and helpful. Great restaurant and the museum is awesome. Quiet family atmosphere. Not a tourist trap. Will return again sometime!

Our family and extended family has been coming to the Topaz since all the kids where born. Our kids range in age from 8 to 16. It is a place where the kids have the freedom to run up and down the beach, without tripping over a ton of people. It is quiet and relaxing and very afforable. We rent 6 rooms all side by side and the kids can play on the back porch or on the front porch. The pool is conveniently located close to the rooms for easy access to provide morning and afternoon snacks while the kids play.

Our Family loves the Topaz! We go every year and have the best time. The location is great and Flagler Beach is a quaint, peaceful little town. I wouldn't stay anywhere else while visiting the area!

I love the topaz motel. Its amazing and always a pleasant place to stay. I love going back year after year. The museum inside the house is so cool and great for taking pictures. Stay here if you want an awesome vacation.

We loved the motel and the restaurant. I had an excellent dinner and the staff was great! The view was breathtaking, especially in the morning. My fiancee and I are planning on coming back down to The Topaz next year from Ohio just for a week of relaxation.

A lovely motel, clean and excellent location especially if you like to fish. The evening shift, an elderly man excellent communication skills. When people are spending their very hard earned money the least we expect from employees is some respect, humility and kindness. Brashness does not cut it. That boy on the day watch need some talking to. I will be back.
