Umberto Primo Hotel, Seregno

Seregno is a small town with one good hotel. The Umberto Primo has welcoming staff, multi-lingual and helpful. The rooms are quiet, spotlessly clean and acceptable quality for its purpose. Comfortable, clean beds in spacious rooms, basically and functionally furnished. I have stayed there many times, without any problems or criticisms. There is no hotel bar, but the bar next door is ok. There are some excellent restaurants nearby (La Sacristia). The hotel buffet breakfast is first class. The night porter speaks only basic English (sign language for room numbers helps!), but the main receptionists are good. There is no pool, but there is a fitness room.
