Chaweng Cove Resort, Ko Samui

The hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport at the bottom end of Chaweng beach.So it is alittle away from the night life but within walking distance. This is a nice place with a good beach location 2500 baht per night (high season) for an air-con bungalow with bathroom,hot water,T.V.,fridge and free breakfast.The hotel also has 3 different swimming pools ,restaurant and a tour service. The staff were nice enough to let ue keep our bags there when we checked out early to go for a trip for the day because we had a late flight out.They also let us have a shower before we headed to the airport. Unique Qualities: The bungalows are close to the beach in natural surroundings.The beach at this end of Chaweng is better for swimming.There are 3 swimming pools which were so-so with lots of banana chairs.The sun chairs on the beach are better .The restaurants with a nice view of the beach has good Thai food and there is also an extensive western menu ,including wine.Good buffet breakfast included with the room,too.The cove is within walking distance from the shops,night spots and there is a 7-11 next door.Great long cocktails at the beach bar in the evening with friendly staff.
