great location, not so nice rooms

The location was great and the views were amazing ... but the rooms were very dated; cracked bathroom tile, shower head fell off, phone didn't work for incoming calls. We were there over the Easter Holiday ... lots of kids in cars driving around until the wee hours of the morning.

Great Restaurant

I have never stayed in the rooms here, but they look pretty average. The location of the motel is great. On the 12th floor, there is a revolving restaurant (only one in Adelaide), which serves great food, specialising in seafood. The price is a bit high, but you will not find a revolving view of Adelaide anywhere else while dining. The best time to go to the restaurant is at dusk, so you can see what the Adelaide is like during light hours and then what it is like after dark. I think it takes about an hour for a revolution.

Location,Location, Location!

Wow! My wife and I travelled to South Australia and we were told that if anything we HAD to try out the beachside suburb Glenelg.
What a beach! The trendy market place with it's outside dining was basted in sunshine and we couldn't help wondering if we were in paradise! The beach was so clean and the sand so white and pure along the crystal clear water. Our perfect place to stay was this circular building, The Atlantic Tower Motor Inn. A 12 level complex with a great revolving restaurant on top. Our room was a 2 roomed suite with great views from the 10th floor. Everything we could have wished for was there in the room and the friendly aussie hospitality was never far away. Our 2 room suite cost us around $USD85.00 and there were no room taxes to pay.
The management were wonderful and even the room attendants greeted us each day with a warm and friendly smile. We have already booked our room for next years planned vacation. This is a truly great location for a seaside vacation with all the modern needs and wants and must have's all at your doorstep!
