Shaddy Nook Inn

The pool is clean and refreshing after a long day at one of the many beaches we visited in Sandwhich, Barnstable and Dennis outdoor fire pit at the center of the property is a nice touch as are the charcol grills available around the grounds for guests to use. The first room had a King size bed, desk, and Air Conditioner. The second room had 2 twins, a bureau and a TV with Cable. Across the hall was the Kitchen/Living room area with AC, Television, love seat, kitchen table for 4, and full fridge, stove, toaster, microwave, coffee maker and all the pots/pans/utensils as well as plates/cups etc for 4. They even had wine glasses which was perfect for the mimosas we made each morning. Cant wait to go bank next year!!!

The room rate's are the lowest on the Cape our rates are from $79.00 +tax up to $200.00 + tax a nite depending what type and size of the room

Disaster within 15 minutes of arrival

We arrived at 7:45 pm on Sept. 20 and within 15 minutes of checking into our room, the toilet overflowed. My husband returned to the office, but no one answered his knock. He tried calling the office several times and even emailed trying to notify someone of the problem. After speaking with our neighbors in adjoining rooms, we discovered that they were having the same problem with their toilets. Consequently, water then starting backing up in the bathtub. Needless to say, it was a long night with no use of the toilet or bath tub.
