My dog and I had the best time!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/18/10
The room was big and exceptionally clean, the innkeeper was wonderful, but the best part was the wonderful lawn where my dog and I got to romp and play. The only downside (for some) would be the limited television reception. But if you are going to Vermont, why wuld you need television when you have the most beautiful views ever.

Truly a wonderfull place to stay
By Harold. Perkins, 7/31/10
The Aerie inn exemplifies the Vermont experiance. The owners are very kind and look out for your needs. The rooms are real clean and tailored to non cookie cutter motel stayers. I read the review below, I work in the health field. I would suggest the young ladie see her physician about her medical problem, Frequently brain disorders show up in the ofactory area,[ nose] The statement of sleeping in her car is simply hard to belive. I have traveled this area for years, This inn is perfect for any situation.

Room smelled so bad, I slept in my car!
By betty, 7/23/10
I would never stay there again, My room smelled so terrible I ended up sleeping in my car. While the room appeared very clean, the carpet is terrible - very mildewy smell. It was unbearable. Check the room before you stay. I'd never go back. I paid $149 for one night - to sleep in my car!

Love this place. Truly fortunate to have stayed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/10/09
This is the place to go to get the visual experiance of Vermont. It is not a commercial hotel. It is a private, small resort that has the privacy and location to be exactly why you come to Vermont. We rode our motorcycle thru out the NorthEast and found this place the one to return to. One way in, one way out. totaly calm, secluded and huge vistas of the mountains. Wish we lived there.

Deja vu!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/17/08
This is weird, but we stayed in this motel when I was a kid, I believe in 1961 or 1962. I think it was called Erdman's Eyrie then. The location is super, the views wonderful. Just as friendly now as it was in the old days.

Good Vermont motel with changes
By Blaine, 10/17/05
One of the delights in visiting Vermont is the scenery. Having stayed at this motel previously, we were disappointed that the owners had chosen to downsize the breakfast/ lounge by placing it in a more cramped location in the registration area. The former breakfast area was considerably larger and had wide windows overlooking the valley below which the owners have closed off and taken for themselves. The restructured lounge area is much smaller with essentially no view. In contrast, the view from the parking area across a wide expanse of lawn with the mountains as a backdrop is exceptional.
