WILL NEVER GO BACK
By ,
VERY RUDE OWNERS, dirty and outdated rooms, dirty pool. was told on phone price was eighty dollars got their and owner said one hundred and twenty dollars, I asked to see room first she said no. got to room with television from the 1980's that did not work went to call and the phone did not work plus their was a broken table in the room. Went back to let the front desk know and the lady got very rude and yelled, when I asked for a refund at first she said NO but when another guest got involved she gave me my refund.........I'll never go back i'd rather sleep in my car!!!!!!!

Time and time again we will return
By ,
We've been coming to this hotel for nearly twenty years now and will do for many more! The location is fantastic with quiet and private beaches. You can take long walks without hardly meeting anyone, mainly because the hotel is located in a residential area with houses that seem to be uninhabited most of the time. Sure some of the furniture could be a bit newer, but I'd rather take a sometimes oldfashioned look and have peace and quiet at an unbeatable price. If there are any problems, the owner and staff do everything to help as quickly as possible. For us this place is like a second home and we hope to come there for as long as it is there!

Amazing service!!!!!!
By ,
We loved everything about the Belleair Beach Resort. They were so friendly and accomodating. We had a family reunion there. They had to deal with all of us losing keys, checking in past hours, and all kinds of out of the norm issues. My cousin has a daughter who is in a wheel chair. They built a boardwalk to the beach just for her so that they would be able to get her closer to the water. They are just that kind. They are there because they love where they are and what they do and it really shows. I would go again and I am telling everyone I get into contact with.

We will NEVER go back...
By ,
Starting out with a positive, it was refreshing to stay at a hotel that had a private beach area. Clearwater has gotten so busy over the last few years, so we were looking for a quiet but close location. I was traveling with 3 young children, so the kitchen seemed like a plus. This is where the positives end. There were big roach's in our room. The phone did not work, so I had to go to the front desk whenever I needed anything. The sofa bed was uncomfortable and filled with nothing but springs. We packed up and left without staying the 2nd complete evening. The front desk closes at 9pm on the weekends so if there is an emergency or problem, you're on your own. I will NEVER stay here again!

Great place
By ,
Great place for a family or a couple. My wife and I spent our 30th anniversary at belleair beach. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms are not perfect, but are still quite nice and clean. Beautiful sunsets, nice pool area and close to many good places to eat (gotta try Crabby Bills for seafood). We would highly recommend it. Prices were also very reasonable (total w/tax was $430.00 for three nights, Sun, Mon, Tue)

the best place to stay on the beach
By ,
we stayed here 3 nights and had the most wonderful time. this hotel in the best for a quite spot to relax and enjoy the beach. just 25 yards to the water line from your room. there are so many birds active on the beach, nature, wildflowers and you can fish right off the beach. there is a peir just a few miles down the road my husband caught all he wanted to catch in just a few hours. in just minites we where in the rat race areas with food and shops. but it was great to get away from all that at this wonderful hotel. this hotel is a family run, older hotel in great shape and well kept. i will go back and would not stay anywhere else when i go to this area again.

Gorgeous view and good price
By ,
Our family happened upon the Belleair Beach Motel for us while looking for a motel that has smoking rooms(and there aren't many!)Not that everyone smokes, but it was wonderful to find a motel that had rooms available that do allow it. It is an older motel, but that's what we enjoyed - that it wasn't a large hotel chain and had it's own personality. My husband and I are in our mid 40's and the Belleair fit our lifestyle and budget perfectly We stayed for 5 days on a second floor gulf view efficiency, which was very large with a king bed, dining table, couch, full size refrigerator and kitchenette, a big closet, and tv (which we barely watched). We went to a grocery store the first day and had most all of our meals in the room, as this was a motel and beach that you didn't want to leave to go to a busy restaurant. The balcony view was the best I've ever seen! Watching a beautiful sunset each evening was the highlight of our vacation. The beach was not crowded, nor the motel - you had a sense of privacy, and couldn't hear anything once you closed your door. Although Belleair does not have restaurants or shopping, it was only 2-3 minutes to find dining, grocery stores, and shopping. It was not a congested area, as were some of the other beach towns we saw from Clearwater Beach all the way down to St Pete. We were thrilled with our stay there and would recomend it to anyone looking for a quiet, reasonable and private motel to stay at on the West Coast. We will be back for another visit very soon!!
