No Cribs at this hotel

We made reservations at this hotel through the Red Roof 800 number and requested a crib for our 15 month old son. After driving 10 hours we were told at check-in that all their cribs were broken and that we were basically out of luck. There was an event going on in town, so we were unable to find another hotel. Also, the continental breakfast is a joke - coffee and packaged donuts.

worst place

This hotel needed some serious repair. The concrete steps were falling apart. The blankets had cigarette burns and the worst part was the black ring inside the toilet bowl. Would had checked out is could find another motel on such short notice.

Red Roof Inn - Spartan but OK

The facility has the basics, but was comfortable. The continental breakfast is simple and has few items other than a beverage, starch and an apple. Otherwise fine for an inexpensive place to sleep for a couple of nights.

Nice rooms

Rooms were clean and looked like newyly remodeled. King room with microwave, mini fridge, and large desk w/ leather chair under $55 is just great.

A quick but painless stay

Overall a good hotel with plenty of amenities. I stayed only one night so I cannot say much about all the available features. Only (small) glitch: I had to leave at 4.00AM in the morning and it took the manager there 15 minutes to prepare the paperwork for me to sign... It would be a good idea to suggest an express checkout when the time of departure is known in advance. This was not the case here even though I had mentioned my departure time upon my arrival the day before.
