Bowling Green Red Roof, Bowling Green

We stayed as a overnight to a local amusement park. We looked for a local Inexpensive Hotel with an outdoor swimming pool. The website pictures looked great. The pool is actually property of the Hotel next door an not red roofs Swimming pool.While it is a short walk there is no private feel at all,in middle of a parking lot basically. Its also a little cloudy but cant call it dirty, an any Tom,Dick or Harry can just park an get in ,an that's what they did. The pool also apparently sells yearly memberships to locals who can come swim anytime,so we were told ...Some of the patrons were membership holders an some were just people parking an swimming..The pool had between 5-25 people in it during the day,we spent about 7 hours in the pool area i would say...The hotel itself was great for the price...My only complaint was the pillows were very big an stiff an all 4 of us had a hard time sleeping an the continental breakfast was weak but that was not high on our list.. My final review is that if you stay for a value hotel its great,if you stay for budget an a swim look elsewhere,we will.

Booked on line for the Kayak discount but advertised price at entrance the same. But, room (216) was spotless, small but everything worked very well. Location is great if you are using the interstate. Trucking parking next door a bit of a bother (letting engines idle for long periods). All in all front desk great help, and a very nice Red Roof for the $48.00 charge. I would certainly try it again.
