The Bethpage Motel is the closest and most affordable place to stay for Bethpage Golf Course (home of the US Open in 2002 and 2009), in addition to four other golf courses. Additionally, the motel is within five minutes to Bethpage State Park, which includes cross-country ski trails, bridle trails, biking trails, picnic areas, playing fields, tennis courts, and a polo field. The Republic Airport is 10 minutes away, Macarthur Airport is 20 minutes, and La Guardia Airport and JFK Airport are 30 minutes from the motel. Guests can reach Belmont Thoroughbred Racetrack in 20 minutes, Eisenhower Park and Nassau Coliseum in 15 minutes, ocean beaches in 20 minutes, Old Bethpage restoration project in five minutes, Old Westbury Gardens in 20 minutes, and Adventureland Amusement Park in 10 minutes. This hotel offers a complimentary morning snack for golfers. The motel also offers high-speed Internet access, room service, a business center, and parking. Surprisingly amazing

I stayed here for a weekend in january during a big snow storm. I told the staff the night before check out i was concerned about making my flight. When i woke up there was 2 feet of snow on the ground. Fortunatey, two of the nicest guys who worked for the motel spent 3 hours shoveling me out. I felt so bad for them. when i offered them a few dollars for thier troubles they refused it and told me they loved working at the motel and were willing to do anything to keep the guests happy. This was truly amazing... After explainig to the manager how amazing his staff was, i promised i would go online a write a 5 star review.... I definitely recomend the Bethpage Motel. P.S. I made it to laguardia airport right on time. Unfortunately, my flight was cancelled and i spent 3 nights at a holiday inn in queens.. That review is not going to be as nice.

As Comfortable as my own home...

A death in my wifes family brought us the long island for memorial day weekend and alittle bit after, my wife was totally distraught and I was down in the dumps too. We got in real late the thursday of and after being shunned by numerous hotels around the area and eventually getting over the shock of their average rate for a nights stay we decided to look on google. The bethpage motel popped right up and to the confusion of a couple of bad reviews I asked why? The rooms are pretty much brand new, the staff couldnt have been more kind, its almost like they sensed our mood and took care of us way more than 89 dollars would usually permit, the location is right around where we needed to be. I enjoyed a nice relaxing dinner with my wife across the street at chilis, theres a walgreens next to the chilis so everything you needs a stones throw away. I highly recommend if ur any where on long island, stay a night. you wont be sorry.

Spent 6 day nights here during the US Open, room was tidy and cleaned everyday. The owner, Louis and his staff made sure me and all the other visitors were made welcome and ensured our stay was enjoyable It’s the close to the main Bethpage golf courses and if going for a few days golf and a few drinks in the evening, this is the worth considering Friendly Irish pub only 5min walks away, with good-humoured locals and first-class food in the evening Will be going back to play some golf at Bethpage and will stay in the Bethpage Motel Only an hour to Manhattan (Taxi/Train approx $35), worth the journey, as trains every hour going and return (Ronkonkom)

Very Comfortable, Great Service at the right price

We needed a place to stay on LI for an unexpected visit for approximately 11 days. The owner couldn't have been nicer to us or more helpful. We asked to stay in one of the newer and remodeled rooms and it was PERFECT for the price. I want to thank Luis and everyone there for making a very sad time in our life bearable.

What a pleasant surprise!

We had a great weekend stay at the Bethpage Motel. Comfy bed, thick towels, newly redecorated room with cathedral ceiling, wonderful ceiling fan. Walking distance to restaurants, stores, everything we needed. Most of all, the staff was great! Friendly service, above and beyond. We'll remember the Bethpage Motel and stay there the next time we visit Long Island.

Great service

We stayed there for the US Open. Louis couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. He even made a special trip back to the course on Sunday so we could get there early. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for us.

Best service I have ever had

I stayed here for the US Open and let me tell you the guy who owns the place is the nicest guy of all time. He went way out of his way to make sure everything went smooth. Luis (the owner) was there every step of the way, from helping me and my dad get the reservation too providing us transportation back and forth from the Open to the hotel. You cant buy the kind of service that the man makes sure you receive it was everything that the hospitality industry should strive to offer. At the end of the last day Luis drove us across town in the middle of rush hour traffic to make sure that we didn't miss the train back the city so we could fly back home. I would most defiantly stay here again and hopefully will if the USGA brings the Open back to Long Island. These guys will go out of their way to make sure that you have a good stay and enjoy your time in the area.

I spent a week here during the US Open. the room was very clean and comfortable. i've stayed in hotels all over the world and would rank this one at the top of the list for friendly service and cleanliness. the staff went out of their way to make my stay an excellent one. the manager ran a free shuttle to and from the course free of charge. i slept soundly and had a great nights sleep and was ready for each days activity on the course.

Excellent, Courteous Staff.......Great Value

Comfortable rooms with the best service........excellent value with convenient location. We stayed during US Open and couldn't have had better accomodations. Staff went out of their way to make our 4 day stay superb. Definitely will stay again!

Great room for a great price

I was in town to see a show at Jones Beach and found a room in this motel. Despite the reviews of it being a "one night stand" hotel (I just didn't want to sleep in my car!), I found my way there with little or no expectations. I was presently surprised to find a very nice room! If you can ignore the mirrored wall (which I found to be kinda convenient and made the room feel bigger) and the tacky red light bulb on a light that won't shut off (I turned on all the other lights and it took away from the seedy factor) it really was a very nice establishment. Wainscoating around the whole room, vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, ceiling fan, AC, cable, Nice, fluffy soft bedding - very attractive oak furnishings and a leather loveseat! I have stayed in WAY worse for alot more. I would definitely stay here again!!
