BEST WESTERN Alderwood, Lynnwood

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was large and comfy. The breakfast was fabulous. It was a great bargain and we will be back again on our way thru Washington State.

This hotel is conveniently located near the major shopping and dining in Lynnwood, and a block from the interstate to head to Seattle proper. The "fitness room" was a huge disappointment, and in our first room the shower did not work. They were pleasant about switching us and the hotel was very clean. Very basic, affordable accommodations.

We stayed at the Best Western Alderwood with our entire softball team. Before making the reservations, we made sure that every room would have a refridgerator and microwave.... or we would not have stayed here. The problems with the hotel began as soon as we started checking in. They overbooked, and did not stand by our group.... even though our reservations were made months in advance. Only two out of the ten rooms had both fridge and micro. When I asked about it, I was treated rudely. Next to not having microwaves in our rooms, the next biggest problem was that they did not have enough pillows for all the beds!!!! We stayed in one of the suites that had a pull-out bed, along with a king. The entire week that we stayed, we never did get pillows for the pull-out. Every day I asked.... and got the same answer. They still didn't have any available!!! How could a hotel NOT have enough pillows for all their beds??? We were not the only group that complained about these issues..... infact one man asked that they go buy more pillows at Wallmart.... they couldn't do that either.....and then there is the guest laundry. You'd be better off going down the street to the laundry mat. They have two washers and two dryers... the catch is that only one dryer can be running at a time or nothing in either dryer will dry. Oh, and lets not forget the maid service. After being at the ballpark all day, you'd expect to come back to a clean room.... with clean towels.... not at this hotel. You were lucky if your room was clean by 5:00pm!! We will NEVER stay at this hotel again!!!
