My family came up from Milwaukee for a funeral and were treated with no respect whatsoever! They were accused of having parties, which did not happen they thought that the website said pets were allowed, and one of the relatives brought a small dog on Tuesday evening and on Wednesday they were locked out of their room. They went to the front desk to ask why, they were very rude and said that when they paid the fee of $25.00 for the 3 nights they were there, they could get back into their room. The dog had not even been there for 24 hours and they insisted that they pay $75.00. Three different people went down to talk to them and explain that they thought pets were allowed, and were treated like they were garbage! If you click on days inn when you do a web search, the first one to pop up says Days Inn of Wausau, and that pets are allowed, but that is the one on 17th Ave, so it was their mistake and read the wrong one, but they didn't need to be treated the way they were! I live in the area and am very disappointed in how they were treated and will never recommend this hotel to anyone ever again! Also 2 men came into the pool area and told my husband that the lady at the front desk sent them to tell him he couldn't have his cup of coffee in there, they were guests at the hotel also and had stated to us that they were in the pool area drinking beer and other alcoholic beverages. Guess it's all in who you know there! You might want to get some different employees at this hotel! Poor, Poor, Poor!

I was overcharged for a room, they are very uncooperative. There was no manager on duty at the time that I had a question, the person at the front desk was of no help and now trying to get this resolved is absolutely awful. So much for customer service ;(
