Dirty, too restrictive & expensive!

We felt insulted from minute one . . . the greeting area smelled like cat pee. Our rooms hadn't been dusted in the New Millennium. Everything in the rooms had some kind of label on it so we felt like we were in WalMart. NO CHEST OF DRAWERS in the room or VANITY WITH DRAWERS in the bathroom so we had to lay all our belongings on the floor - no joke! Everything was locked down tight at differing times so we were SOL on using amenities like the small pool because we didn't ask ahead. The house itself is beautiful from the outside like the photos posted online, but it is in a scarey neighborhood with busted old cars up on bricks in the streets and houses with doors hanging off their hinges = ick, who would ever walk in to the town of Napa? And then, THE BILL, it was an extremely expensive insult! The only bright spot was the friendliness of the proprietor. THIS WAS A HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE FOR US = DON'T EVER GO HERE = THERE ARE MUCH BETTER NAPA B&Bs!
