BEST WESTERN Vicksburg, Vicksburg

I stayed here for a week when I was in town on training. The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. The breakfast was one of the better ones that I have seen in this price range. I went back to Vicksburg a couple weeks later and was actually planning on staying here again but they were full.

Very nice.Suprised actually...room was great,clean,cool and had a nice flat screen ,fridge and a microwave.Love the Bed..Very pretty..Sheets were great..Pillow toppped mattress.Full breakfast.Not just a continental.I did not say anything about the location because that is a personal thing.Very close to supermarkets and just about anything you want..Only food delivery was pizza.Only view from room window was basically the parking lot.

We could not get a room reservation (at a decent rate) at one of the casino hotels the day before Valentine's Day. So, my husband booked a room here. We were not expecting the room to be so clean and well furnished. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Vicksburg!

The rooms are great, breakfast is good but the desk clerks need to take lessons on how to treat their guests. (at least the clerks from 2008). We keep coming in hopes they will be better.Maybe this year!!!!!

Don't let them put you 101 A. The ice machine is in the exterior hallway and on the same wall as your headboard. The noise is transmitted through the wall and into the headboard. Trust me you won't sleep. When I got up and went to the front desk to ask about the noise, I had a slightly difficult time pin pointing the noise because the machine had kicked into idle but when the compressor kicks on it sounds like a jack hammer. i pulled the plug on the compressor and showed the clerk. Would you believe they plugged it back in later that night a couple hours later. The response of the staff was not what it should be . You will also have a dificult time parking at the room because of the corner in the building and pad mounted transformer. Just be warned. Go somewhere else.

Positives: Maid staff was great. Front desk clerks were hospitable enough. Lobby & Dining room were comfy. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. Pool area is really nice. Negatives: Laundry room is cave like and the machines are not well maintained. Weight room was a mess; broken equipment, broken television, & dirty floors. Keycards constantly deactivating or would not allow access to guest facilities. If you just want a comfy no-frills place to rest, book it.
