Fairfield Inn Bowling Green, Bowling Green

I normally love staying at Marriott but this is absolutely the worst hotel I ever stayed at in the Marriott chain, as far as that goes any chain. I've never stayed at a Marriott property that had exterior room access from the parking lot, for 1st floor rooms, shades of Motel 6. Entire hotel smelled like well used baby diapers. Arrived at the hotel at around 2:30 pm and was told room was not ready but would be ready at 3:00. We returned around 3:30 and still no room. They eventually came up with a secondary room that wouldn't even live up to the hotel standard's of rooms rented by the hour. Staff could care less that no room was available for us. The odd part is that while we sat out front waiting for a room trying to connect to the Internet several travelers came and checked in. Marriott should dump this one and save their reputation while they can.

Location was fantastic , Fairfield Inn is right off the Expressway exit and right next door is Ryan's Buffet for great buffet food variety , the area has plenty of retail shops and restaurants you're familiar with. Beds were very comfortable firm memory foam mattresses , I found my room to be very clean , including the shower and bathroom which was small. Continental breakfast was very good and products were well stocked , ok I noticed some expired milk from different dates in the refrigerator , Note to Fairfield Inn: someones not rotating , other than that I thought it was a very good value. Heated Swimming Pool , I have my doubts about this , felt more like Lake Michigan so I would recommend using pool under full sun. Easy to get to local attractions like Corvette Assembly Plant , Corvette Museum and Lost River Cave Tour , and about 30 minutes from Mammoth Cave National Park. Great Deal using Coupon. $59 dollars / Night , Plus Continental Breakfast and Swimming Pool. My family and I stayed here while we were visiting local attractions , we received a discount at the Fairfield Inn because of coupons available in a FREE travel Magazine available and the Tourist Info center.

June 2009, The staff were very nice and accomodating. Can't say that for the room. The carpet was wet, the bathroom dirty. I carry Clorox wipes on long trips and my wipe was black when I cleaned the tub. Dirty toothpick on the floor and the room needed updating very badly. Again, staff was very nice, but the room was disgusting.

Very friendly! EXTREMLY clean, smelled, looked & was super clean! Very nice rooms, comfortable beds, fast wireless internet! Didn't eat breakfast but looked like they had good choices. I stay in hotels all the time for leisure & business, & I have to say this is one of the best hotels for the price that I have ever stayed at! PLUS, completely smoke free!!
