I like this place, alot!

Since I first came here in may of 2009, I've always been treated with friendliness and respect from the entire staff. My room has always been clean, and has even been remodeled, along with all the other rooms. As far as security goes, they have installed a monitoring system, and being that motel is in nice quiet part of town, I dont worry about it, anyway. Going on almost ten months (im working at Shell Refinery), never has there ever been a disturbance, or have I seen where the cops had to be called about anything. I highly recommend this motel, if ur ever in the area. I travel most of the year on jobs, and this is one of the best 'economy' motels Ive ever stayed in, at this price. I will always stay here, anytime I return to Martinez.

Not a good experience...

When we opened the door of our room, we were immediately hit with an odor that smelled as if someone had smoked in the room and then they tried to cover the odor with something. I immediately opened the window, but it didn't help much. Also the bathroom sink was plugged up, and there was some mysterious splatter (possibly coffee) on the bathroom walls. We stayed on a weeknight and it was very noisy. The place appeared to be frequented by workers that probably work at the refinery in town. Between 5:00 and 6:00 am it was quite noisy as the workers were all leaving to start their day. On a positive note, the room appeared as if it were somewhat remodeled recently as the bathroom floor was obviously new and the bedspread was pleasant. Also I have to say the bed was very comfy.

Nice and resonable rates

I really like about everything, friendy staff good room service and also have microwave,refrigerator, Hair dryer I also request for coffemaker and Desk clark provide service wrigt away. I enjoys stayed at the Americas Best Value Inn for about 4 months because I have to done some work at refinery in Martinez. Good places to stay if you are in Martinez for business

when we go to martinez we will stay at royal motel

i stayed on motel on date 03/05/05 It was nice and quiet motel and price was excellent. Room is nice and had a mocrofridge and iron and iron board

when we checked it i knew it was not the five star rating someone gave it. we were handed our remote with our room key. 1st indication. the beds were sagging, the carpet filthy, the walls are in need of paint, and the blankets are see through. this motel is in need of some repairs...it was not worth the $70 we paid.
