They charged full price - with no bathroom.

When we stayed here and closed the bathroom door, it locked from the inside. The nighttime desk clerk apologized but did not know what to do. She called a manager, who asked "How did they pay the bill?" - wanting to make sure that we had paid with a credit card so they could still charge us even if we left (my mother is 86, had a broken rib and lacerated liver from a recent fall, and was too tired to leave). There were no other rooms, so we had to stay in that room. The next morning, the new clerk said it was not her responsibility to do anything about the locked door and that she did not see any reason to reduce the price even though we did not have a bathroom. When I asked to speak to a manager, the clerk went into another room and then came back and said the manager was busy and couldn't talk to us. Finally, someone on the cleaning staff figured out how to open the bathroom door. When I then suggested to the desk clerk that the desk clerks learn from the cleaners how to solve this problem, she again insisted that it was not her responsibility. She was astonishingly callous and rude.
