Nice room, the rest not good.
By Grant M, 7/25/10
Room clean, functional and well furnished...actually a very nice room for the money. Mattress good (pillows awful). Towels poor. Continental breakfast bad. Stale cereal, stale coffee. Not at all friendly or warm. Language issues at front desk and reservations. No elevator to 2nd floor. There was a serious security issue that hopefully is fixed promptly.

Won't stay here ever AGAIN..
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/12/10
Front desk person followed us around the motel inquiring about who was in our room (we were not unruly or disrespectful), inquired personal questions that were none of his business, only one other person appeared to be working and that was his wife who pretended not to understand english, he entered our room without permission and claimed to be checking windows. Room was dirty, tub would not drain, hot tub unavailable, and service was terrible. Towels were not new or felt clean. Front desk person gave everyone the creeps and felt we were being "watched", not a family hotel or even a single person visit. We switched motels the second night and had friendlier service and the room was cheaper and CLEANER!

Good Motel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/31/09
This hotel was agood deal for the money. Highlights of this one: EXCEPTIONALLY quiet. I rarely heard any noise from other guests or traffic or airport noise. Good location for walking or biking by using "side streets". Only problem: AC seemed to be malfunctioning but it wasn't hot outside so I just didn't use it. I submitted a service request when I checked out. In morning I was surprised by hot breakfast buffet. My family loved it. I will stay again

thiefs
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/29/09
We stayed at this hotel a week, the hotel staff was horrible, I only know if them coming twice and the second time was to steal my digital camera. It was lying right on top of the television and we left for a couple of hours, came back and our $200 digital camera w/ all my childrens photos for the last 5 months, that are irreplaceable was gone. Had to file a police report, and when that was finished we found out this wasn't the first time people have had things stolen from this hotel. The desk clerk was not cooperative and when the police showed up, he conveniently left the premises. He was rude and condenscending all the while barely speaking english. The pictures were of my 9 month old baby and my 4 year old daughters birthday party, I will never get those pictures back. The day the camera was stolen, the "cleaning man" admitted to being in our room but denied stealing our camera..

Excellent Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/15/09
I have stayed here several times. Have used this hotel for our bus tours and have sold rooms with sporting event packages many times. No serious problems. Rooms are clean - bathrooms exceptionally clean. Heat/air works great. Not impressed with exercise room. The hotel lacks a restaurant at the moment, which it should have. There are several restaurants within walking distance and many more within a half mile. Beds are comfortable, nice pillows. Pool area could be updated a bit, but it’s ok. Modern, roomy, bright rooms, wide hallways. No real complaints overall. If you need to complain about this hotel for the price you are simply too picky!

Excellent accomidation,froendly,helpfull staff
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/15/09
I have stayed at this location twice in recent months. My first stay was marred by noisy guests who checked in at 2 or 3 in the morning and were very loud. Not the Inn's fault, I guess. However, I must compliment the front desk personnel and the other staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is great and the rates are reasonable. On both visits I found the rooms to be very clean and well maintained

Good Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/3/09
My wife and I stayed in Fremont NE for 3 nights . The moderate price of $57 a night including tax was quite reasonable and the location was convenient for us. We might have benefited from better maps than those provided in the room. The owners take great pride in their hotel, are visibly active and present and friendly. The breakfast was very nice -hot waffles, denish, miffins, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, toast, and bagels. The rooms were cleaned and made up daily. The bed was comfortable. A hotel laudromat would have been nice but we found one down Road toward Hyvee. Rooms were large and spacious. They had indoor pool but we didnt use it.

Good small town motel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/3/09
Though when we got there, our room was not ready, so we had to run a couple of errands while they cleaned the room The front desk people were nice though, we managed to lock ourself out of the hotel room somehow. The young guy was very nice about helping us back in. The pool was nice, my family loved it. We can make our own waffles during breakfast hours. Rooms were large and seem to be new. Ask for upstair king rooms with couch. I liked the central location on 23 rd st. Everything is close to hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

Not the Place to Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/20/08
I'm not sure who wrote the first review....must have been management. I have traveled extensively and never have I stayed in such a dirty motel room. We should have asked for our money back and relocated. The toilet wasn't clean, the plastic ice container was dirty and there was a thick coat of dust/dirt on the hair dryer. Carpeting in the corner near the bed displayed dirt and a broken toothpick. I'm uncertain as to whether the sheets were clean. The towels were threadbare and stained, as was one of the pillow cases. I believe the health department should have a look at this motel. It causes me concern for those who stay there.
