Days Inn Pueblo, Pueblo

Despite the good location (other hotels are in the same area), we will never be staying in this hotel again. After reserving and confirming two adjoining rooms months in advance, they assigned us rooms that weren't even next to each other. The clerk was not very apologetic although she did change things to get us the adjoining rooms. Both rooms were supposedly non-smoking, but the hotel obviously does not track the bedding because everything was full of smoke. This is a big deal for someone with asthma. Also, the carpet was so filthy that the bottoms of our 14-month-old daughter's feet were black from walking on it. Yuck! We did not have a full supply of towels, which were very low quality anyway. We tried to contact the front desk twice when no one was there. The continental breakfast was pretty minimal. Finally, although we booked the rooms for two nights, they couldn't seem to remember that and rekeyed our doors so that we could not get in on the second day. All of our stuff was in there, too!
