Radisson Resort At The Port, Cape Canaveral

Before we left , we read some reviews that really put this place down so I was a little worry about staying there , guess they are just hard to please. Our stay was great. The staff was very friendly and went out of thier way to help you. The room was very up to date. We had the select comfort beds. The room even had a celling fan. We had the cruise package and read the area that you parked your car was unsafe. Not true. The lot is very well lite at night and not once was I worried about leaving the car there. The pool was really neat and clean and was a welcome break after driving from Ohio. Would I go again , in a heart beat. Next cruise out of the area , we'll be back.

We have stayed at this location four times (2004, 2005, 2008 & 2009). Three of those times were 2-3 day stays associated with cruises, the other was a 7-day stay. This is a GREAT place to stay, mostly because of the staff. The rooms are nice, the beds are very comfortable and the restaurant serves great food. However, Bean, Brian and Jonathon make the stay very nice as they keep the pool area and the Tiki bar running smoothly. They are also very helpful with visiting local sites. You are just a couple of miles from the beach and just a couple of miles from great restaurants around the Port, in Cocoa Beach and other areas (like the Village). It is a great place to use as your "home base" as you visit Orlando and a great place to return to after a long, busy day. It has a great pool, our grandchildren loved it! The first visit we drove from Maryland and used the "cruise package" feature that allowed us to pay $50 to park our vehicle there for a week while we cruised. It is a secure sight and much cheaper than the parking lot at the port. They have a very well scheduled shuttle service to the port that leaves every half hour.

I stayed at the Radisson in Cape Canaveral for 4 days in August, 2009. The room was very comfortable and clean. Will stay there again if the situation arises. The only issue I had with the room was the thinness of the walls which seems to be a universal issue with hotels these days.

We've stayed at this hotel several times. Most recently 10/08. The renovated rooms are VERY nice; great colors & "sleep number" beds. You can choose the firmness of your bed, which is a great feature. Location is close to the cruise ports & deep sea fishing docks. (But not oceanfront). Tiki bar & pool area are very nice. We will stay here again.

I will say that the location of this hotel is great. It is convenient to the port. I would not vacation here if I were not cruising. There is not a lot to do in Cocoa Beach. Minimal restaurants and entertainment. This hotel was typical. The pictures on line make it appear nicer than it actually is. The pool area is very nice but the rooms need some freshening up. We stayed in a 2 room suite and it was Ok but nothing great.

the room was dark,musty and small and worn out. the breakfest was awful. the service was bad. buffet was dirty too. i wouldn't stay here!i think the hotel was okay!

Several friends and I were taking a cruise and needed a place to stay. We chose Radisson Resort at the Port for it's proximity to the ports. After our stay, we all decided we would like to return just to spend time at the resort! The rooms were well appointed, the beds comfortable. The grounds were gorgeous and you felt you were in the middle of the tropics! The service was excellent and it was a fantastic way to start our 7 day cruise!! The Radisson Resort at the Port gets my highest recommendation!

We stayed in the one bedroom suite during a recent visit to Pt. Canaveral prior to our cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. The room was delightful! Service was wonderful and all personnel were courteous and helpful. The room was newly renovated and was clean as a pin. We had a small kitchen/dining area, a living area (sofa was queen size hideaway), a bedroom with in-room jacuzzi tub, and a shower/bath. There was plenty of room for all of us - five people in all! We liked the resort so much we'll be going back again - for a longer stay. The grounds were impeccable and the free shuttle to and from the ship's docks made the stay all the better. You can park your car for the week while you are on your cruise. It was great!

We stayed here prior to going on a cruise. Unfortunately the weather was rainy the whole time so we were unable to enjoy the beautiful pool area. What made our stay outstanding though was the service and helpfulness of the staff! THEY WERE AWESOME! The airline had lost two of the bags in our party of 6. The staff brought up a bag of toiletries for the couple who didn't have theirs. They also made arrangements to have our lost luggage delivered to the ship if it arrived after we checked out. They bent over backwards for us! Fortunately the luggage arrived just as we were checking out - but I will definately stay here again -the service of this hotel made this our favorite port to sail from!! The restaurant had wonderful food also - try the alligator/conch fritters -outstanding!!

We were recommended by a friend to come down a day early and stay here before our cruise left Port Canaveral. We found a clean, well designed Hotel. A lovely large pool with waterfall and a hot tub. A breakfeast buffet was also available. We took advantage of the buffet and enjoyed it. We then took the free hotel shuttle to the port to start our cruise.
