The Checkerberry Inn is closed.

It seems to have been closed for a couple of years now. The phone number listed has been reassigned to a private residence.

Absolutely charming!

My husband and I loved everything about the Checkerberry Inn! We stayed on a weeknight while on our way to New York and had a memorable experience. Service was very professional and everyone was friendly. The pool was beautiful and provided a place to relax during the day and before dinner. Food was also excellent! I had the chicken and my husband ordered the salmon and it was absolutely delightful! Compliments to the chef!

A Gorgeous, romantic getaway!

This is a truly wonderful place... the rooms are immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, the staff is friendly and professional, and the food in the bistro is "to die for!"... try the Citrus Martini! Make sure to bring your walking shoes for a walk through the private walking trail in the woods, and go in the Spring to see new baby horses in the field! I want to have my wedding there someday!
