Fenwick Sea Charm Motel, Fenwick Island

this place is great but you have to know what to expect, its an older style place so it wont have as great of service as a big hotel obviously, but this place has great location being near the beach, ocean city, and some neat stores within walking distance, its also next to a small pool. I would highly suggest this to a person who likes smaller, more nostalgic places.

we stayed in an efficiency, right on the ocean. but even the beautiful view could not make up for the moldy walls and smelly furniture. and the double bed was so old and lumpy that my husband and I both had terrible back pain after spending a week there. not exactly relaxing.

We came to this place because the price was reasonable, but the rooms were dingy and musty, and the lady who ran the place was obnoxious as well. When we voiced a complaint, her reply was, "Well, you are obligated to spend the first night here, or you will be charged." The next morning when we checked out, she said sarcastically, "Oh, I hope your night wasn't too miserable." I hope she reads this post and knows how offensive I think she is, in addition to the accommodations being lousy. Checked into the Princess Bayside Hotel in Ocean City, Maryland the next day, and the rooms were much better.

Motel and apartments are quite charming with great location. Rather new exterior is quite deceiving to old interior. Rooms are generally clean with wood paneling and old amenities. Rooms could use thorough spring cleaning. Limited housekeeping services and office hours available. Beware of cancellation or early departure without refund even for emergencies!!

My family and took our four children, and sepchild, for a week in July. And my husband and I have stayed many times together, easy access to night fishing, beautiful location and very kind and extremely efficient staff. We plan on a trip again this summer, if there's room!!!! Absolutely our favorite vacation spot!!!
