We will go back to this hotel.

Stayed here twice, in the North Tower (family) - price seems to have gone up since last trip; there are pretty good deals in Vegas now too. Would like to try Central Tower, but the rooms need to be cheaper. Also think all hotels should have minifridge and in-room safe. The room and view were nice and the beds were FANTASTIC! Elevators are crowded and slow, and you have to walk by the smell of Cinnabon to get anywhere ( oh, my!) and the carpets need to be cleaned in some areas. We ate at the Range (white linen, view of river, on comps) and the Buffet first trip, thought they were great. This time went to Beach Cafe for a burger (really nice), several breakfasts and Baja Blue, which was also nice. Get a Total Rewards card immediately, staff are diligent (even in restaurants and shops) about asking you for it, and comps are easy to come by. Slots are very tight, but they have kept their table minimums low ($5 and $10, compared to $25 in Hard Rock in Tampa, Florida, ridiculous!). The newest and most exciting slots were in the smoking area (of course) but there is a non-smoking casino with good ventilation, which has slots and tables too. We have also stayed in River Palms and Riverside; this is the definitely best of the 3. Rent a pontoon boat on Lake Mohave, not hard to operate (Davis Dam road) wonderful way to spend an afternoon on and in the water which is warmer than the Colorado River. Do not rent jetskis on this side of the river, they are half price in Bullhead City. Also in Bullhead, there is Safeway and several liquor outlets (Walgreens, Sams Club) 10-15 mins away, much cheaper than anything you can find in Laughlin. We rented a car and drove from Vegas, can't get lost, and fascinating desert scenery in the mountains. Be aware, cost of car rental almost doubles the quoted price when all the taxes and gas allowance are added. But it is so convenient! It would be nice if the boardwalk extended to this property so you could walk the length on the water instead of having to take the water taxi (the price of this has over quadrupled - it is now $4.00 PER TRIP! - taxi is just as cheap) or clamber over the mountain, or huff up the steps - someone, do something about this! All in all - really enjoyable.
