dishonest, at best

Our wedding had been booked for over 6 months. We had been told about all the beautiful flowers to be planted in the Spring. About 1 month before the wedding, I went to the site to check on the plantings. Dirt and stickers is what I found. I had to fight to get some flowers planted and even then, they did not plant them, they just moved some flower pots around to try to hide the dirt/stickers. They never did cover the dirt and acted as if I was asking for miracles to get them to do what they stated they would do. 2 days prior to our wedding date, the coordinator called to say there was another wedding booked for the same day, 20 minutes before our ceremony. Our guests would have to wait in a room while the other wedding took place. We were promised no charge for the ceremony site, in lieu of the HUGE inconvenience they had caused - there was no credit ever given. We were told all food from the buffet would be boxed and saved for us. After the reception, I asked for the food and I was told it was all thrown away. The excuse was we had not signed a waiver for food safety. We were never informed of any waiver, nor was it offered for signature. The chair covers ($5 each) appeared to have been taken out of the laundry bag just minutes before the reception. The wedding started late because of the ceremony over-booking. We were putting decorations on the altar minutes before the bride entered. After the ceremony, during wedding party photos, the next ceremony was scheduled to start, so we were asked to remove our decorations - while we took photos. All very unprofessional practices - the coordinator did a good job of selling the site, but did nothing to make it "as sold". I will tell any bride I know to not trust this place and would advise to stay clear of them.
