You Gotta Be Kidding
Where do I start…
With my business, I am on the road about 5 months a year. And, my job picks my lodging.
So, when I hear that I'll be staying at the Residence, I get all giddy.
But, this time was extra special. I bought the iPad when first released, and use it entirely for internet and some applications. I knew that the Residence in Flag didn't have wireless everywhere, so I called a few days ahead and asked for a room that handled wireless for my iPad. They told me that only buildings 1 and 2 did wireless and that they couldn't accommodate the iPad quite yet. That the hotel was updating their internet sometime in Aug/Sept for wireless everywhere and iPad compatible. Well, after contacting my stay after the Residence and finding out that the net was going to cost $2.87/day, I sent a letter to the Res to get some answers. To my astonishment, the next day I received an email from the Flag manager telling the problem had been fixed.. WOW.. And sure enough, when I arrived it was..
THE STAFF.. NO CHANGE. But, how can you improve perfection. Final Word.. I felt like a "whale in Vegas". Like to put a special "shout out" to Angel for giving me the same feeling my mom did…
FITNESS.. Before, the gym was clean but small.. Could really only handle an individual or a couple. Now, there are 2 modern treadmills, and an elliptical machine all with their own HD TV, a bike and new dead weights.
I can't wait for my next visit. It's a vacation with pay..
BOTTOM LINE.. If you are the type of person that "can never be pleased", you're not going to like it there...Dan
