Motel 6 in Rancho under new management.
By Barbara, 10/01/08
The Motel 6 you have listed and the reviews that were written are from 2006...Management has changed and things are better. If they are not a five star let them know where they can improve. They are only as good as the problems you bring to their attention. They will truly resolve the problems as quickly as possible.

Give it a miss
By KathyW, 03/27/06
I've stayed in this motel 3 times. Each time the toilet has backed up. This last time, the clerk did not wake me up as requested (an unforgiveable error in my situation), and the maid did not leave me any soap (the office had to squirrel around to find some). Also, I was kept up all night by people yelling and slamming doors.

Seriously rethink where you're going to "sleep"
By Honey, 01/25/06
While the lady at the front desk during the evening hours was great- Very helpful and considerate, the rest of this hotel was terrible. The non smoking room was so saturated with the stink of tobacco that I was sick to my stomach all night. No wake up call was needed courtesy of the guy next door with the dog barking at 5 AM. Once he finally let the dog out he stayed busy by slamming his van door into the car parked next to him, setting off the alarm. It was finally turned off but that didn't matter because the guy with the barking dog then got into his vehicle and started to rev his big van engine so loudly that it set the car alarm off again. If ever again I need a place to sleep away from home and this ends up being my only option ... well I'd rather sleep in my car.
