Conveniently located in the heart of Niagara Falls' entertainment and recreation district, world-class gaming and entertainment is moments away through an enclosed walkway leading directly to Fallsview Casino Resort. Following an extensive expansion, a new 53-storey all-suite tower opened in June 2009 featuring 500 luxurious suites. European luxury and elegance abounds in the well-appointed 2 and 3 bedroom suites that feature magnificent views of the City and the breathtaking Niagara Falls, as well as comfortable king sized beds, plasma T.V. ’s and fireplaces. The majority of the guest rooms feature a single whirlpool tub or a two-person Jacuzzi in an oversized bathroom. The hotel offers guests exciting dining options, including: Ontario's first Romano's Macaroni Grill, Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse & Wine Bar and the Grand Caff Breakfast Buffet. For magnificent views of the Falls, the hotel's rooftop restaurant, The Watermark, located on the 33rd floor has multi-level seating and floor to ceiling windows. There is an indoor pool with a 30-ft., three-story spiraling waterslide and 27-foot waterfall, as well as a steam room, sauna, fitness area and arcade. a little disappointed
By ,
We found the jacuzzi too small for 2 average size people and you couldn't sit up straight in it. The bottom of the jacuzzi was rounded and when you leaned back you would slide down. We hardly used the jacuzzi during our stay because of it. Also, it was not easily displayed, if at all, that valet parking was the only thing available ($20 charge of course)- no choice.

we've upgraded!
By ,
Every time we'd go to Niagara, we stay at the Hilton. Now that we have 3 kids, we now stay at Americana. We loved the Hilton and still do, we just feel it's not as family oriented as other hotels.

Great Family Getaway!
We stayed at the Fallsview Hilton from Dec. 27-29/06, after booking via telephone for a special package which included a 2 queen bed room, city view, breakfast buffet for both days for all, free passes to the Bird Kingdom Aviary, Butterfly conservatory, a free magic show in the hotel, a kids craft time, a kids movie night with free popcorn and pop, and some other discount coupons. Room was very clean, the staff extremely courteous and helpful from greeting to check out. The breakfast buffet which was free for us was quite good...we went to the mezzanine ballroom to to eat breakfast both mornings, although we tried to get a seating at the Watermark restaurant on top of the building, to enjoy the view...too long a wait for our hungry kids, we should have gotten up earlier! We were not told about the parking fee of $20.00 until our arrival, and when we made our protest, the parking fee was quickly waived by the clerk. We took our kids to the food court in the fallsview casino to eat dinner...really lousy choice, but Rocky's Diner was pretty good, homemade burgers, not frozen patties, and very reasonable considering the inflated prices in the area for pretty well everything. My husband and I ate at the Casino buffet, which we had heard so much about....over-rated....maybe not as good as the Mandarin, which isn't that great either. Took one and a half minutes to lose 10 dollars in nickels in the slots for fun...we're not high rollers! We'd rather buy two lattes from Starbucks. There was a free magic show in the hotel for families, featuring Aaron Patterson...and it was quite entertaining! There was a craft room for kids from 11:00-12:00 daily....my son enjoyed it, but the two young supervising young women did not seem to interact at all with the kids...just stood with each other and chatted, and ignored the kids....there were a couple of large nasty notes on posters addressed to parents on the walls explaining that parents should not make crafts for kids, or use the supplies themselves...they were for the children triple underlined. I felt a little tried and convicted before I even got in there to look around. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna/steamroom and water fall were great, and the kids and husband enjoyed the waterslide. but...beware, the lifeguards were busy flirting and sitting around talking to each other, and hardly cast a glance at the swimmers or the pool....the young lady supervising the top of the waterslide was reading a magazine...there was lots of potential for drownings which did not seem to concern the lifeguarding staff. Good thing we are conscientious parents who kept a good eye on our swimming kids. In the morning of our departure, we woke up to a bill slipped under our door...complete with a 4.95 charge for a bottle of Evian water which was available in our room and that we did not consume...we had to get that adjusted at the front desk. Well, overall, I would say we would be back to the Hilton Fallsview for another holiday, and that we had a pretty good time. Definitely the kids program and the pool is a terrific component of this hotel if you are going in family.

Wonderful
By ,
We had a wonderful room, excellent price and dinner, while a little pricey, was very good food. We didn't think to pack bathing suits in the dead of winter, but the pool looked very inviting making us wish we had. Walking to casino and falls were both short walks.

It was OK
By ,
The marketing material does not show the 43 story Sheraton directly in front of the Hilton and obscuring Goat Island and bisecting the two falls. Even though we were in a "non-smoking" room there was an ash tray in one of the drawers. Despite the fact we paid $200/night (CAN) the sheets and pillow cases were not changed during our 3 night stay. The "honky tonk" amusements and "gift" shops were everywhere (including the hotel). EVERBODY had a hand in our pockets and that extended to Toronto. Don't use any of the "money exchanges", they rip you off - go to a bank. NOT an inexpensive place to visit. The internet connection was expensive as well as the use of the business center computers.

It was a good use of Hilton Reward Points
By ,
My family & I stayed at this hotel in a room i payed for with reward points. I don't know if I have the right to be critical. The hotel is across the street from a casino/shopping center. You can walk, or in my sons case, scooter down the hill alongside it to see a clear view of the falls @ Niagra Park or go on the people mover. It is not close to the Hard Rock Cafe/Planet Hollywood tourist restaurant area though. The hotel itself has a pool you can only match at resorts in Hawaii, Carribean etc. and was not dirty because it was indoors. My family's room was another story. We were in the old tower above a restuarant that played music into the next day and the wallpaper was falling off. Worse was the vallet which took one hour to get our car. Overall, I don't know how much I can complain because the room was free. But if I ever stayed their again, it would be solely for the pool. Oh, and the internet is slow wireless and cost $10.00 for use on one computer only.
