AVOID THIS HILTON HOTEL
By ,
Booking into this Hilton will give you nightmares! We stayed one night in a suite with two small children. At 10pm the suite beside us starts their party. Loud laughter, swearing, slamming doors etc. Only after 2 calls to security did they settle down somewhat. At 4 am we are startled awake by the fire alarm. After numerous calls to the front desk we are told it was pulled by a guest. We then go to check out and have our valet parked car delivered with the back bumper side swiped. The security comes fills out a report and I go back into speak to the manager. I tell him about our various incidents of our stay and he say well security will help you and dismisses me. No apology, no sympathy nothing. The next day I call back to speak to the general manager, and he say the same thing...sorry but there is nothing we can do. You can file the damage to your car with out insurance, and as far as the noise and fire alarm there is nothing we can do. No compensation for our bill nothing from them. They even had the nerve to charge us the $25 fee for valet parking after they damaged our car. I have now spent the first 3 days of our vacation chasing up repairs to my vehicle. I caution you to pick any hotel in Niagara Falls but the HILTON HOTEL and SUITES

Not up to Hilton Standards
By ,
e stayed there for three nights in June to celebrate my birthday and I was disappointed with this hotel. Positives: -Great view. We were on the 35th floor of the new,(taller) tower and had a great view of the American and Horseshoe falls. -The room was clean. -It has a nice heated indoor pool. Negatives: -Check-in was disorganized. I am a Hilton Honors member and as a result get priority check-in. However there was one little sign at the front desk indicating where Hilton Honors members should check in and most people were not aware of it. They also needed more people at the front desk. For this big a hotel, they need more people staffing the desk. Parking was $25.00 per day. However you can park in the nearby casino lot and pay $5.00. -There were maintenance issues with our room. -The door did not close automatically -We had an issue with the knob on the jacuzzi. -Most of the channels on the tv in the front room did not work, (they worked on the other tv) -The front room was very cold even when when we turned the thermostat off. -The hallway was cold and there was a breeze blowing into our room. We had to put a towel down at the doorsill to block the cold air. -There was a bottle of water in the room with a tag on it that said it was available for $4.95 if you wanted it. Really? When I am paying a lot for a hotel room and a member of your honors program, I dont need to be nickeled and dimed. -The elevators have issues. Besides being slow and inadequate for the number of people that are there, they had maintenance issues. One ride was memorable where we got on the elevator to go down to the lobby and when the elevator got to the 20th floor, it went back to the top of the building again. It did it several times until someone just held the buttons and the elevator finally went to the lobby. -As a surprise for my birthday my wife ordered cheese, crackers and fruit plus a Happy Birthday balloon delivered to the room. The food was delivered without the balloon. The food was adequate but nothing special (standard crackers, slices of cheddar, cheddar/colby, and swiss). We estimated we could have gone to a supermarket and picked up what was served for about $25, about a third less than what we were charged. Hilton is a top brand that we pay a premium for, clearly we did not get what we paid for at this stay. With taxes out stay was almost $250 per night for three days. I would say that the room was worth about $125 per night with a $125 per night premium on it for a falls view. We will not stay here again and cannot recommend it.

too smokey
By ,
Just got home, we read the advertisement - The "North Tower is completely smoke free", I should have read between the lines, we stayed in the South Tower (rm 3008). View was great, but the room stank like an ashtray. I'm not used to that anymore. The furnishings were 60's flea market tables and couches, but the bed was comfortable. No bed bugs noted. Noisy room, could hear the plumbing and hot tub vibrations from next door. Don't understand the window between the bed and bathroom. Don't care about privacy so much as not disturbing my wife when I get out of bed 2 hrs earlier than her and have to shower in the dark or light up the room.

What a bad hotel
By ,
After staying at the Embassy we decided to do our weekend away at the hilton and what a misstake. Thre is no fridge in your room. You can hear the people next to your room partying till all hours of the night. Woke up Saturday morning to have a shower and there was no water AT ALL. That means no shower, you can not brush your teeth and you can not go to the washroom. The day we left we got stuck in the elevator for 20 minutes and it was full of people. So I will never go back and I will NEVER suggest this to anyone.

Spend a little more and stay at Embassy Suites
By ,
After staying at Embassy suites in Dec 2010, we decided to save a little money and stay at the Hilton. Did not like the view at all! the fact that they wanted to charge more for a fallsview breakfast was ridiculous when we already had a fallsview suite. staff was rude, did not seem concerned about their guests. breakfast was worst than going to IHOP. did not like the package altogether

Best Hotel Ever
By ,
Me and my family just came back from the Hilton. The service was fantastic. Do not,i repeat DO NOT listen to the whinners that said there was Bed Bugs because my father is a health inspector and went to this hotel and found 0 bed bugs. It was very clean. The location was beautiful , me and my family got the complimentary suite in the north tower 47th floor and the view was amazing. The food was fantastic. The only thing that i would change would probably be the prices of the rooms , a little too pricey . But over all its worth it, because you have a fantastic view, service is great , and its very comfertable. The staff there is very nice. My children were being kind of loud and running around , and the staff did not come yell at my children , they told them in a very nice way to be a little more quieter. I recemend this hotel to tourest and people that just wanna get away!

Any motel is better than this Hilton!!!
My wife got severe rash during our stay at Hilton Niagra falls. Its been over 2 weeks only thing I am hearing from HIlton Management is that they are not sure why that happened and I can contact their insurance company. First, why would I contact the insurance company, I stayed at Hilton and paid the price to experience the service and quality. Secondly why would I stay their ever again, their incompetant management team have no clue what "guest service" is all about! On top of everything not to mention huge lineup to check in and to long wait to get your car on checkin out! Totally Frustrated.

BED BUGS BEWARE!!!
By ,
I stayed at the Hilton on Sunday, October 10th, 2010. All night long I tossed and turned in my bed. When I woke up on Monday morning I had developed an allergic reaction on my arm and I had the tell-tale triangle bite marks on my hand. I proceeded to try to call the front desk and report the problem. The day before my sister had gotten the same rashes and bites, and while she had notified the hotel no one came to check up on her. When I told the person at the front desk that I had bites on me and that I had developed a rash he was immediately very rude to me. I asked him what this could be and if it was possible that it was bed bugs. He immediately got very defensive and said that no they weren't bed bug bites, and then proceeded to call me a liar and said that I had got them before I came to the hotel. At that point I got angry and called him incompetent so he hung up on me. He was supposedly the front desk supervisor by the name of Chris. I called the front desk back and demanded to speak to the manager. They gave me to the front-desk manager and again she was very rude to me. She didn't care about my concerns and was condescending and antagonizing. She then notified me that because Monday was a Canadian Holiday I would have to wait till Tuesday to speak with the head housekeeper. The next day came and the head housekeeper called me. Her name was Julie Antonio. Again, she was extremely rude to me. She told me that they had a specialist come in and the hotel did not have bed bugs. In truth, she was not concerned with what had happened to me while I was at the hotel, rather she kept pressing me that they did not have bed bugs. I then insisted on what could have caused this and she said it could have just been an allergic reaction to the feather pillows. I have feather pillows at home so that does not suffice for me. She then proceeded to tell me quite rudely that if I was having problems I need to go to the doctor. I said I wanted to talk to the manager of the hotel, but since he was out I would only be able to speak to him tomorrow, which was Wednesday. The manager didn't actually come back until Thursday and while he wasn't as rude to me as the others he basically said we don't know why that happened but there is nothing we can do for you. I have never been treated so badly in my entire life. Honestly, they seemed so defensive at the idea that they may have bed bugs. They were extremely rude to me and the entire time tried to push the problem onto me as if I were the problem and not them. I have pictures of what happened, and I'm am going to post them wherever I can. Besides, the possiblity of bed bugs being at this hotel I should say it is also not very clean. My sister rented another room and the duvet had dried body fluid stains under the cover. The showers had stains on them as well. Upon first glance I thought that the hotel was well-run but when looking closer it is a different story. I strongly caution everyone to beware of the hotel, because if you mention bed bugs they become extremely defensive and rude. I almost had the feeling that they didn't want to be branded as a hotel with bed bugs, which is why they were so hell bent on denying what had happened.

Great Experience Real Review
By ,
Just got back from Hilton and loved it. Just a few things to note. Purchased room online, pretty sure i payed for breakfast on the 33rd floor, we were given free breakfast at the ground floor level; Also, they sneak a $23 dollar parking charge under your door at Midnight. On the plus side. We went to the front desk and got the same girl that we got an early check in with. Mentioned the breakfast deal and she upgraded us to the breakfast for 2 at the Watermark on 33rd floor instantly and hassle free took less then a minute. In addition, you can park at the casino across the street and use your CASINO POINTS CARD for FREEEEE parking which is what we did. So in the morning I went back to the front desk happen to be the same lady and she refunded that charge instantly and hassle free again, all I said was that I parked off site. Putting that aside (which are the only cons I came across with this hotel but the receptionists were great and staff was friendly) We payed for a City View and got the same room as the Fallsview just 1 level below where they start. 14th floor. the view was of the front of the casino and the upper half of the falls. View was great. Room was clean. Location was above amazing. Breakfast was delicious and the view on the 33rd floor was amazing. Went to the Keg for dinner, where the food and service were also amazing. My girlfriend and I went with Filet Mignon and New York Classic, it was all cooked to perfection. Waiter kept coming back to ask if we wanted refills and even got us a candle for the table. All in all Dinner / Room maybe just slightly over priced but I would go and do it all over again in a heart beat, highly recommend staying here because of the great service and location with amazing rooms / views. (and now you know how to escape their tricks for an extra buck) :)

Terrible
By ,
This Hotel is awful- rows at the front desk on an hourly basis, insane prices, disgsting pool, Valet smashed my sat nav and they refused to compensate me for it. Room smelt of smoke to top it all off. Got in touch with management and they said that they hoped I would stay again. Stayed at Ramada previously- better experiences at half the price.
