Lake Raystown Resort, Lodge & Conf Ctr, Entriken

We held my daughters wedding and reception at Lake Raystown's Outdoor Gazebo on 9/27/08.It was absolutely beautiful! Raystowns wedding planners Sandy Cuthbert and Michelle Miller were wonderful to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process. I would recommend them and the whole raystown staff to anyone wanting a dream wedding. We held the reception at Raystowns marina tent. Raystown catered the ribs and chicken and the guests loved the food. We ate at the Marina Restaurant on 9/26/08 for the rehersal dinner. We called ahead and ordered the food, it was excellent. My daughter and her new husband rented 2 villas for the weekend. One for the bridesmaids, the other for the groomsman and they had a great time catching up on each others lives, and hanging out. The villas are nice the only thing I would recommend there is Raystown needs to furnish rugs by the entry doors and supply chairs for out on the outdoor porch. It would be nice if they also supplied towels like a normal hotel would. Other than that the villas are great. My husband and I rented a suite at the resort for the hooneymooners night. It was gorgeous! My daughter & new husband loved it. It has a whirlpool tub large enough for 2 and after all the wedding prep it is great to take a moment to relax with your special love. Some of the family members stayed at the lodge and it was very nice too. The weekend was worth every penny and I highly recommend it to everyone. Sandy and Michelle the wedding planners far exceeded my expectations. I can never thank them enough for everything they did for us. They solved every problem we encountered to turn the rainy day into a beautiful one to remember. They took of many details above and beyond their job discribtion. We ended the weekend by eatting at the Marina Restaurant on Sunday morning at their breakfast buffet and it was delicious. I am just a middle class mother but, I felt I, my family, and friends were treated like royality. I've been planning my daughters wedding for the past year and It was everything I dreamed it could be and more. Thanks Raystown Staff you are awesome!
