Currently staying here for work... we have mixed reviews on the hotel. It has improved since the change over from Marriott to Wyndham, the best change has been the evening chef Sam, he is an excellent cook with a great customer service work ethic, we enjoy his service to the fullest!! The front desk staff is very helpful also.... Easy access to freeways and shopping is a plus also!! Our only complaint has been housekeeping busted going through our belongings....other wise I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

This is a bad Marriot Residence Inn. The service is very very bad. Only one answer you would hear from the staff...we have no one to help you at this given point of time. The worest thing that happend to me is they have double booked the room that I was staying. The couple not knowing the fact tried to open the door and banged on my face. I bearly escaped from serious injuries. When I questioned the property manager he just said sorry and went back to work. Further, the room that I was staying had issues with AC, the outside temparatures are 100 F. I was put in a different room and the previous customer was a smoker( BTW, they have non smoking policy) and the room stinks. When I complained the same to front desk I was told I have to stay in a room where there is no AC or fan. Or tolerate ths stinky smell. There is no other go for me. The management on site never bothers about the issues that you have. I am not passing this comments based on my experience a day or two. I have stayed for long term and wishing that things will get better. By the time I left the things got worse. You will not recieve the value for the dollar that you spend. You will be better off if you stayed in extended stay america or some other motel. I have realized that we must not fall for brand name. You have to check the hotel review prior to booking your room.

Eh, this was not a good residence inn. For one, it is in a very bad neigborhood, the large cement barbed wire wall around the place make it fell like a jail. When we got to the hotel, it looked very seaty, like run down. We checked in, and got to our room. Beyond the wall was a VERY VERY scary neighborhood. The room was really dissapointing. I have heard really good things about residence inns, that they are really big, and spacious. This reminded me of an old 1960s motel. It was cool that it had a fridge, and a stove, microwave, and dishware, that was convienient. But without that, it was just your basic hotel room. We asked for 2 beds, but we only got one, so that sucked. Then i tried to log onto the internet, and at first it didnt work at all. We had to call the front desk to ask them what is going on. They connected us to some other thing, and we had to spend 20 minutes trying to connect to the internet. This hotel is NOT for a buisness traveler. What I like to do, is i like to put my suitcase in the bathroom, so it can act as a hamper. I opened the bathroom door, and the room was the size of a walk in closet. It was TINY. you couldnt easily stand and open the door at the same time. We were going to stay 2 nights, but we ended up heading up north to go to mackinack one night early, because of how small this hotel was, and how bad the internet services was. Recomended for: People who are going to the henry ford museum, and dont mind getting carjacked. Not Recomended for: Budget Travelers Busniess More than one person, unless you get an upstairs room people with nice cars families ect. Still, it was very convieniet to the henry ford museum. and it felt safe inside and clean
