Ramada Cancun City, Zona Hotelera

if you know the in and outs of the city, perfect ! this is downtown cancun!! this is note the zona hotelera. hotel is clean, close to markets, night life. bus depot. from here you can move freely to playa del carmen, isla mujeres,cozumel, etc, etc. try to avoid taxi cabs, use city buses ...very unexpensive. (less than .50 US)

the staffs are unfriendly and never smile. they just looking at you when you walk in and out. the location of this hotel is very noisy at night because the local bars play the music so loud that you can not sleep until 4am that is when they closed. this is my first time to come to cancun and i have no information about this hotel. if i come to cancun again, i will pay more to stay in a better hotel in the "hotel zone".

I picked this Hotel due to the unavailability of Hotel rooms in the "Hotel Zone". This hotel is NOT a three Star, by Far. This Hotel has a lot of potential however the management is the worst. My wife and I stayed the last week in December 05 and on the night of 30 Dec the Hotel had rented the Pool area for a Private Party, 150+ people, complete with DJ and a Monster sound system. The music was so loud the hotel walls were literally shaking. I complained several times throughout the night to the front desk, they told me they could not do anything about it. It was out of their hands. I asked to speak to the Manager on duty only to find out they Have NO Manager on duty. The manager at the Radisson, that�s right, Radisson is the Manager for the Margaritas. He pulls double duty, since the Margaritas is owned by the Radisson chain. I called over to the Radisson and asked to speak to the manager on duty, after a few minutes, I was told the manager was not answering his phone, a Complete LIE since the guy who answered forgot to put me on hold and I heard the conversation he had with the manager who did not want to be bothered. The Party did not end until 4:30 AM. By this time there were numerous guests in the front lobby complaining, but the hotel would do nothing. I requested to speak to the General Manager (Mr. Fallad) whom was comfortably sleeping at home and even left a written request to speak with him. He never returned my call and it seems he did everything to avoid me while I stayed there. They Totally ruined my vacation since we were so tired we could not go on one of our scheduled tours. The Hotel rooms are not the Best, Bath Towels with holes, TV does not work, Floor uneven, Beds Hard, Furniture OLD. You cannot sit properly in the Toilet because the Paper holder is installed way too close to it. Not the Cleanest place for sure. Hotels don�t have to be Ritzy, But they do Have to be CLEAN. DO NOT STAY HERE, MANAGEMENT ONLY CARES ABOUT YOUR MONEY.

This hotel was more then I expected it to be...we stayed there for 14 days, and we saved a lot of money because of the low prices. The hotel has everything you need...and the service is very good.The rooms are cleaned every day and the sheets are changed.Very nice ppl that work there as well.There is no problem to get to the hotel zone..busses are going back and forth all the time. Nice restaurants in the area too. I would defenetly go back to this hotel if I go back to Cancun.

Small pool, but face the facts, you staying in an inexpensive place. Located close to bars. Place was clean, staff not overly friendly. A good place to see more of an authentic Cancun. I stayed there fora couple of days before I went to an all inclusive, good place to stay to see the downtown nightlife

if you are looking for america in mexico this is not the place for you. but if you are looking for something more authentic try this hotel. it was clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. the pool was large and there was a nice restaurant in the hotel. also many nice restaurants close by.
