Rookie Staff?
By suds, 10/09/09
Our stay was what was expected for the price. The parking however is terrible. Very limited parking at the hotel, and they did offer free valet.....but it was across the street behind a shopping center in an uncovered parking lot with no security measures. This bothered me when I saw where it was parked. My biggest complaint would have to be what happened the morning we left. We told the front desk we were leaving, so they would bring our car to the front. After about 20 minutes of waiting we asked where our car was....they said it is on the way. Twenty minutes later we asked....where is our car? They were having trouble getting it in reverse???? After about 45-60 minutes of waiting we walked across the street and behind the shopping center to find a valet guy trying to jerk the shifter in reverse. He did not know to push down to shift in reverse. For a valet attendant shouldn't you know or ask how to do something before you make someone wait an hour. Don't trust the valet parking. Could have damaged our car after witnessing what he was trying to do. Rookie staff and service.

Nice people, beautiful landscape, basic room
By Shannon Steinfadt, 10/15/08
Attended a conference there. The Inn is a nice property, basic rooms, nothing out of the ordinary. The desk staff were really helpful. Do have a car or be willing to wait for the shuttles to get to the Conference Center. The properties weren't very great for handicapped individuals. To get from the Lodge to the Conference Center, you have your choice of stairs or more stairs. At least the Inn seems to be a bit better, ramp in the front, and you can drive directly to the Conference Center. If you're not handicapped, it's a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the center, so be prepared. Overall, the Inn was tidy and sufficient. Thankfully they have humidifiers in the rooms to try and offset the incredible dryness. Also, as a guest of the Inn, you can visit the Spa that has a steam room. This is a great spa, nice steam room. Both are located in an obscure location at the Lodge and require a sign-in at the spa front desk. Don't let that put you off! Go and enjoy. Really neat spa as well.

Never Again -- Most Rude & Unhelpful Staff
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/17/07
Most unhelpful staff I've ever encountered. Checked in and in the evening tried to take a shower. No hot water. Called down to the front desk and was told I was the only one this complaint there was nothing they could. I told them that was unacceptable, we wanted access to a room with hot water and they told me I could come down and shower where the staff does. I told them for $150+ a night I did not think that was an acceptable solution. After several calls, nothing was resolved. They sounded more like stoned teens than adults being paid to assit guests. They refused to check other rooms to see if the problem was more widespread, they refuse access to an additional room with a shower so we could check, they refused refund. It went unresolved for the evening. The next morning I was in the elevator with a repair man who said the hot water heater had gone out and the entire hotel was out of hot water. They were not notified until morning when additional customers called to complain, which means the entire hotel was inconvienced, rather than resolving it the night before. We requested a discount since you stay at a hotel to shower & sleep and we were not able to shower, and the repeatable phones from the staff just to annoy us hindered our sleep. Nothing, told they need to speak to their manager (a repeatable excuse with every request for access to room with a hot water). I later emailed the Inn at Keystone with a step-by-step of their incompetence and inconvience they caused us. I received absolutely no reply. DO NOT STAY HERE. I have never been more frustrated with customer service than here.

We stayed the weekend in the lakeside village at the willows. It was a 2/2 with an awesome view on the lake. Service was awesome! Central location. Will definitely be back!

I will be back
By DeaSha, 06/08/05
The hotel was nicely located at the bottom of Keystone. Perfect walking distnce to the slopes. We arrived early and they shoed us to a place to change to start skiing for the day. The service was great. Our rooms were beautiful. We had one of the two jacuzzi suits, they are well worth the money. The sitting rooms came in very handy. The location it self was just wonderful.
