Ok for a quick stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/16/11
1. No automatic doors to enter into the hotel. They have double entry doors which are manual...so if you have an arm full of luggage, you have to prop the door open to get in, then you are greeted 4 feet later by another set of manual doors which again you have to prop open. Just haven't seen those doors in awhile and am glad i don't typically have them. 2. Three out of five lights in the room didn't work. 3. The safety latch on the door was broken...not too comforting...

Terrible experience..
By Crazyclown, 7/10/09
I would never stay again, called to get a room and was quoted 180 government rate used 1-800 hotels and got 2 nights for half off. The hotel is not within walking distance to anything, it had a wet smell to the room that I didn't want to think about to much. My biggest complain was on my last day I decided to just have juice because the breakfast they offer was terrible, an hour later I had to pull over and use the bathroom hunched over in pain, this continued well through the day. I ended up only able to drive for about 3 hours before I couldnt take any more and had to spend the night somewhere. I debated going to the hospital but the next morning felt well enough to continue my trip...This place is bad just avoid it..

excellent hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/31/09
I took 33-people here in October and we all felt as though this was as good of hotel as we could ask for. The price was great, breakfast great, service was great. We will be staying there again in March and looking forward to it.

Not the best
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/3/06
The walls are paper-thin and could hear maids arguing next door while they were cleaning the room. Then, when they knocked on our door ONCE (and not very loud), they just came in the room before my husband could get to the door. Also, it is not the best kept hotel in Gettysburg. I would recommend staying somewhere else.

Kids love it
By ThomasR, 4/13/06
The location on this is key as there is a mini golf and arcade next door! The kids love it and it was lots of fun. I recommend this place as its pretty close to the attractions and has lots of easy access and tons of parking. Rooms were standard and service was good.

A memorable visit
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/14/05
I enjoyed the employees at the front desk. They were very helpful answering my questions. I especially enjoyed the breakfast experience. The employee assigned to the breakfast room was very attentive. She always kept a sharp eye on keeping all the breakfast amenities filled and available. (She was, I guess you might say, very motherly.) Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay and comfortable beds.

A Clean Sleep
By Whynotu, 10/3/05
My biggest thing about sleeping some place away from home is that a hotel must be neat and clean. Days Inn at Gettysburg gets 10 stars in my book. It is also not to far from all the places you want to vist it is in a nice location.
