this place is unique, they are very profesional , the staff was amazing, good food, but the main thing is the beach and snorkeling, if this is not enough the sports events and dances are first class. it is a shame they tore down the place

Great but it was knocked down two years ago It is being replaced by a 7 story complex The Allegro was great while it was in operation but I guess money became an issue and it had to go.

Pure Heaven

Perfect place to vacation. Water is fine and pure. Snorkling is the greatest I've done ever. Help is a little laid back. But qafter a day or so you relax with them and understand they don't succomb to the pressures of the outside world. It's relax and enjoy the entire experience. Cannot recommend it any higher. Have taken several trips to Mexico and the surrounding area and islands and enjoyed this one m,ore than any of the others. 5 stars from this vacationer.

2 Trips in 3 months must be nice!

I really enjoyed the friendly staff and how accomodating they were to my needs and how they focused on just making me happy. They made me feel like I owned the place. I enjoyed my first trip so much that I went back in less than 3 months! The food was pretty good considering it was all inclusive- as well as the alcoholic beverages. All a great deal!!!

The best vacation ever!!!

This was the nicest beach i have ever been to, and i would return as soon as possible. The food was great and the staff members were even better, i would seriously recomend it to any one who is interested in a carabean vacation p.s. dont miss the thursday night BBQ its great!!!

the best time

we had the best time here. the staff was a blast keeping us busy with activities or just helping us get a buzz on!! the shows at night were great. the food was good . the rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff was honest and helpful.the best thing was they did not limit the amount of drinks (alcoholic/non) during the day/night. some`all inclusive` resorts just give bevs with meals. and this was not "kid central".

We just came from the Allegro and just can say that it was a terrific vacation. Plenty of food all over the place, great variety and the activities staff is just fantastic. They just had the premier of a new show and it`s a great production. The pool area and the beach are really beautiful. In conclusion my family and I had a great holiday and will definetly return.

Never...EVER stay here!

My girlfriend and I stayed here from May 22-29, 2002. Worst resort I`ve EVER been to! They were at maybe 50% occupancy, and STILL ran out of EVERYTHING. EVERYONE was complaining! I`m NOT kidding. Manager refused to return our calls ar see us when we went to the front desk NUMEROUS times. So many people wanted a piece of this guy he actually cancelled the "Mangers`s Welcome Cocktail Party". Afraid he`d be lynched I guess... They ran out of: Heineken(one of only two beers), absolut, daiquori mix, draft beer, strawberries, bannanas, etc. Get to the buffet 10 minutes after it starts and they are out of food! Restaurants (2) are a JOKE!!! 15 tables MAX! You can`t call to make reservations, you have to be at guest services THE MORNING BEFORE you want to eat in order to make a reservations....then they tell you it`s already booked! I`m serious! Host is also the waiter, wine steward, busboy, etc. We felt like we were staying at a place that was going out of business. My feeling is they WILL!!!! Go to Beaches, Club MED, ANYWHERE but this place. I could write a LOT more but it won`t fit! Need more info? My e-mail is : Rickster07731@yahoo.com Peace.
