Good deal for the price!

My friends and I hooked up in Tampa for a long weekend vaca and trip to Busch Gardens. We were looking for a place to stay several nights and not break the bank and we found it in this hotel. Checking in was easy and I was even allowed to check out a little later than the 11am check out time. The elevator and hallways were a little warm and there was a faint smell of smoke on our non-smoking floor...but for the price we weren't complaining too much! If I'm short on cash and need a place to stay in Tampa, I would definitely stay here again. Relative to the price and amenities provided...this was a nice hotel.

Will never stay anywhere else!

My fiance and I spent our whole Spring Break in Clearwater! 7 days! This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Great price, extremely helpful staff, great location, super clean, and the amenities were awesome. We're both in college so we were on a budget and this was perfect. It is only minutes from the beach and 20 miles from Busch Gardens. It is a perfect location near restaurants and anything else you may need. We will always be coming back to this hotel!! Nice Hotel

Would definitely stay again

I liked the fact that the rates were cheap, the room was extremely clean, you had a mini frig and wireless internet. Free breakfast in the morning, and a nice clean pool. You are probably about 20 minutes from a beach. Not bad at all. I would highly recommend staying at this motel.

Take my words back about the overcharge

Charged my card for the night I did not stay

If you do choose to stay at this hotel - pay cash! Or better find some place else - you will save money because there is a chance they will overcharge you! I am still fighting to get my money back for the night they claim I booked and had not shown up for. They charged my credit card three times in one week for two times of stay. They are using a trick not to give me my money back by saying that I made three reservation for that week of stay and I did not show up for one of them. Also the charge for no show suppose to be lower than the room rate but they also charged the full amount like I stayed the night. Lets see if they give the money back – it’s been couple of weeks now. Good stay for the money.

This motel is older and a little frayed, but we found it to be clean and a good $40+ value with micro/frig, free wifi, an elevator, and continental breakfast of cereal, muffins and bagels with coffee and juice. My only complaints: an outdoor heated pool that was cold, and some inconvenience from workers laying new carpet during our stay.

Needs Work

I did not like the moldy smell in the room. We asked for non-smoking, and got a non-smoking but it still smelled like ciggarrettes. The staff was very friendly, but very unprofessional. Not enough towels for the two people in the room, and hallways were poorly lit. Reminded me of a horror movie. I it's worth about 20$ a night, not 70 and higher.

Good place to stay

the motel was under going a remodeling . it had all the necessaites we needed. for the price it was a good place to stay, very convenient to the airport. the pool was clean the linens were not upscale but they were clean. the bathrooms had been repaired.we had internet service and there was always coffee in the lobby. Newly Remodeled?

Bathroom with major water damage, cracking and peeling dry wall and coating on the fiberglass tub. Tub with poor drainage and live insects. Room with strong smell of mold and mildew. Shortage of bath linens for four people who shared the room. The room way too small. Poor dirty. Maid never came to clean the room, or leave fresh towels. Most hotels have notepads and pens in the room. This room had nothing. Coffee pot available but no coffee set up for it. For a "newly remodeled room/hotel" there was much repairs needed and looked as if they experienced a recent flood. The location and price were nice. Customer services were very polite and willing to give directions, and attend to our needs.
