Ambience Like Motel 6, at $400 a night

This is the second morning of a three night stay at the Yacht Club at Disney World. With a conference "discount" it is over $400 a night for a room with two double beds. My wife is at a conference and this was supposed to give me a couple of days to "sleep in" away from our stressful jobs. Yesterday morning, I was woken up at 8:00 by the maids chattering and clanging this or that in the hallway. Today, for over an hour, from 7:30 to 8:30, there were kids running and screaming up and down the hallway. I asked the maid to call security or something and she ignored me. Finally, I went down to the room where the kids were coming in and out of and, incensed, knocked on the door and said something to the father. A few minutes later, security came to MY room and started talking about MY behavior and said that this not the type of behavior they want here. So obviously, screaming kids waking up other guests in $400 a night rooms is the behavior they do want. Be warned. We will never attend another convention there, nor go there for any reason again. You shouldn't either, unless you like being woken up by others kids screaming at 8:00 in the morning, uncontrolled and condoned by Disney security.
