Hard to find, Rude Staff , and Bugs!!!
By Samantha, 1/6/09
It took us over 2 and a half hours to find this place when I only live 25 minutes away! And when we did arrive, it took us another 2 hours to get inside the room because there was no parking spots left. Front desk staff was very rude, I asked to speak with a manager and she brought out the manager. Once the manager came out she said some things that were not very becoming. She rudely turned away from us and immediately assisted another guest who was standing behind us, and was being really nice and helpful to that guest. We did not feel welcomed at all! This place already had given us a hard time and we did not even get inside the room yet! Once we got to the room we were told that our room had a king sized bed and a sofabed in which it did! I had brought two kids with me in their late teens and unfortunately there was barely enough room for them to fit on the sofabed because they are extremely narrow and small! So I went down to the front desk and I Kindly asked them If we can switch our room with two double beds instead and they said that they will check for us to see if there's any rooms available. It took them over 5 minutes to see if there were any rooms available and they told us there were 2 rooms left but they had to get an okay from their manager first. After spending 10 minutes at the front desk the clerk told us that the manager said that there were not any rooms with 2 double beds available. so we were given the run around here and we were not happy at all. After spending a few hours in the room we look to our left and saw 3 little bugs crawling on the carpet. Now we were not sure if they were bed bugs or just bugs that live inside those rooms. We couldn't wait to leave the next day it was a horrible and depressing stay! I definitely don't recommend this place to anyone unless you want to get eaten alive by bugs and get treated like animals. Although they were suites, I still found it to be extremely expensive for the not so relaxing stay.

Kepp going back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/3/07
It was great, close enough to the city - without the noise at night. The rooms were spacious & very clean. The pool was large and the bus service across the street was great, perfect for commuting into the city. However,to find the hotel was a nightmare - the streets are not visitor friendly - but if you can find the hotel, it's a plesant experience!

be careful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/7/07
after driving 6 hours to get to this hotel, when we arrived, even with a confirmation # we were told there was no reservation for us. After showing the booking slip, with the confirmation # , we were still turned away..after about an hour, they found us another room at another hotel, and offered to pay for one night, the only good thing about this hotel. Lounge had food that was way too expensive. Front desk clerk was very nice, but definately be carefull of this place ...things get lost

Will Stay Again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/6/06
We recently stayed at the Wyndham for the location to NYC (6/25-30/06). We were very pleased with the location and the accessibility of the NJ transit bus service to NYC. Our room was clean but we did not receive cleaning service every day or fresh towels unless we requested it. The pool itself is clean but the area around it is filthy and in desperate need of repair and fixing up. Location for traveling into the city is fantastic although the hotel itself is difficult to find if you are not familiar with the area; be sure to have good directions off of Route 3 and the Garden State Parkway. Also front desk clerks are very difficult to communicate with and do not have service as a priority. All in all, for our purposes (easy access to NYC and the price), we will stay again in the future.

If you can find it, it's fine
By Videocat10, 12/7/05
The staff was very nice. After driving around for over an hour and stopping and asking how to get the hotel and still not being able to get to it. We stopped at the public libary and the libarian called the hotel, someone from the hotel came in the shuttle and met us and had us follow him back to the hotel. When we check ed in we did not like our first room, it was right on the roof of the hotel works. We said something and staight away they gave us a new room that was just fine. The room was clean, staff friendly and yes there is a lack of places to eat around there. Once you are there you are scared to remove your car from their lot in faar of not finding your way back. Across the street is the bus that takes you into NYC. That is a very nice feature. So, once you find the place it's a great value and helpful staff.

Very Good If and When You Find It.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/16/05
In October 2005 I booked into Prime Suites. It took nearly 2.5 hours to find Prime Suites. By the way American friends who I was waiting to meet had a very similar experince to mine. Eventually navigated to Secausus, but was unable find Prime Suites, I asked at Wall Mart. The answer is engraved on my memory; "I come to work, I go home, I don't know where I am sorry can't help you." After several drives along Paterson Plank a lady was able to give an accurate description how to get there. Prime Suites fully met my needs and beyond and I certainly recomend it. Particularly good is the direct bus service to New York City that runs frequently. A minus point was the lack of decent places to eat in the immediate local area. A tipwould be to have a good map published on the hotel web site.

Great Accomodations for NY Trip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/14/05
This is a great affordable location that allows you to enjoy all of the NYC attractions without the drudgery of the traffic/parking. The suites were very comfortable and full of amentities. NJ Transit available across the street from hotel entrance. We would recommend this hotel to others especially famlilies.

Will Never Go Back!
By Joan, 6/24/05
This hotel was horrible!! They don't vacuum the carpet - candy wrappers under the bed, popcorn behind the door. The bathroom had no vents so it smelled musty, a lightbulb was also dead in the bathroom. The only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to NYC, otherwise, it is dirty.

Falling apart
By Ralph, 6/10/05
This hotel is literally falling apart. Half of the ice machines do not work and there are three cheap plastic chairs by the pool. The internet was down and the common areas were just plain dirty. The staff was uncaring and at times rude. You had to beg for extra pillows or towels. Other than the location this place is awful.
