Ummm, not quite there
I stayed recently at the hotel and it stands as the reason I know longer stay at Hamptons. It had never been upgraded or renovated. The room I received had what looked to be a single bed - they did say it was a double....still not sure. Room had old furniture, plastic hangers, and an older mattress covered with a matress cover. I called down to the desk and was told that the room was the least expensive room but the larger rooms were the same price and the King with seating area was 10 dollars more.
The inconsistencies of the Hampton brand has turned me toward Hyatt Place when possible, Courtyard (have never stayed at a bad courtyard) and a few other of the usual suspects.
The service was pretty friendly at the front desk, there was a nice little reception in the breakfast room but it was all window dressing as the rooms - or my room, was not so nice a place. The location is near many chain restaurants and a Trader Joes and is not far from North Hills mall.
Pool empty!
For a 110 dollars or so, I say there are better and more comfortable places.
Thanks
