Howard Johnson Romulus Detroit Metro Airport, Romulus

This facility is litterally falling apart, has a Drug Dealer in the Entrance, Whole family in the same area, elevator with potholes that take out sampsonite rollers, and the room smelled like the shower room of the Cleveland Browns the last time they went to the superbowl. The seat in our room was cut up like some sort of horror movie, the bedding was actually molded (yes just like shower mold) wish i could post picture! there was toilet paper in the peep hole, and the amenities that it did have ill compare to Thailands Bankkok, red-light district if your bringing your family be-ware! I would have paid less to go and sleep in the Airport, and wouldnt have itched for the 3 hours we were there.

My boyfriend stayed at this hotel for a week while he was on a business trip. Needless to say he saw different people coming in and out of a room just about every hour...and the worst part is that there was no cleaning of the room done in between. Can you say disgusting!!! After seeing this he decided he would find a different hotel the next night being it was late and he had to work early the next morning. Instead of waking up and going to another hotel he had to go to the emergency room! A $100 copay at the er to find out he had scabbies from the bed bug bites he recieved from the dirty linen on the beds at this hotel! Their rude service was the least of our worries at that time!

Very dissappointing. I expected more - especially from a Ramada Inn. We arrived and were not advised their entire telephone system was not working. After spending nearly 1-hour calling our airline (with a busy signal), we attended the Front Desk, and were then advised by the unfriendly Clerk, the telephone system was not working. We asked why we were not advised this at check in, and were told, "I forgot". Front Desk staff were rude. Not once did we receive a "hello" or a "thank-you". The inside of the Hotel smelled of mould. It was disgusting. Never again will we stay there, nor will I recommend the Ramada Inn - Romulus!

My uncle's airplane got delayed and he need to stay at Detroit Airport overnight, and he does not speak much English. Even though, his stay at Ramada was a very smooth experience. I booked the hotel on line for him because the hotel provides free shuttle from and to the airport, free internet and breakfast. The staff was very friendly. My uncle told me they already had his hotel key ready when he checked in (I called the front desk and let them know the situation), and he said the hotel room was great (we just returned from Bellagio, Las Vegas). Overall, I had a very good experience with this hotel. Good service, convenient location and budget price, highly recommended!

very friendly staff, very clean room, very nice pool. I will tell every one, we will always stay there, tell a friend, we were a very big group and we love it, keep the good work, we will be back next year

Close to the airport, clean, quiet, free shuttle, and very friendly staff. What else can you ask for in a budget hotel? They even provide free wireless internet! Awesome!

Friendly staff (although the cleaning person did enter my room without first knocking), very convenient to the airport. Very quiet, despite being directly under the flight paths to the Detroit airport across the highway.

Service was pretty good. Front desk personnel was helpful. The room was okay. Kinda small and the beds were average.

The site said there was a pool, but the pool was an outdoor pool. I was really hoping to be able to relax in an indoor pool and hot tub before my flight out.
