Nightmare in Lousiana
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/23/09
I stayed in this hotel for a one night layover since it was close to the airport. It was between this or the Hilton. Figuring it was a decent place to lay my head before my next day of travel, boy was I wrong. the bed had dead mosquitoes under the covers, the place had a bad smell, and to top it off. A Psycho checked in next door to me. the story is he forgot to take his meds. i was afemale traveling alone. heard a crash next door. The guy threw the chair out of the window. I called the front desk about the disturbance, no one answered for 20 minutes. I called 911 Frightened for my life. Finally after getting dispatched to local 911 officers were sent over. Security never came to insure guest of there safety, the front desk did not picked up or called guest with situation up date. This was a true nightmare. All night out side my door to scared to go anywhere else and no place to go. I here hammering and the cleaning of broken glass and debry. No apologies or explaination was givien by the staff or management. It is true what they say you get what you pay for. I had a chose of this hotel and the hilton across the street. I figured I would only be there for a few hours until morning, how bad could it be?
Never again!
