Holiday Inn Evansville Airport, Evansville

IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO WRITE THIS . I WANTED TO SEE HOW IT STACKED UP AGAINST OTHER MARRIOTTS AND OTHER CHAINS. iT SUCKS. THE MAID KEPT MY TERRY CLOTH BATHROB I ACCIDENTLY LEFT BEHIND, CALLED THAT EVENING WHEN I ARRIVED HOME, HOUSEKEEPER SAID THEY WOULD LOOK FOR IT IN THE LAUNDRY. IT WAS A GIFT FROM MY GRANDS DIDN'T COST MUCH, BUT IT HURT NONTHELESS. I ALSO LEFT A 10.00 TIP. NEXT STAY W/ MY GRANDS I REC'D A CALL FROM HOUSEKEEPER BEFORE 8;AM, WAKING 2 YR OLD ASKING" WHAT TIME WE WERE CHKING OUT". I CALLED FRONT DESK TO COMPLAIN, GOT AN APOLOGY AND WAS TOLD MY HUSBAND WOULD GET 300 REWARD PTS. HE NEVER GOT THEM. MUCH MORE TOO MUCH TO TELL. WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. STAFF/ MGR ACT LIKE THIS IS NOT THEIR HOME PLANET.

A guy working there at night named Jerry Wayne Brummet reaked of weed working behind the desk and had some black guy in th back there with him eating donuts...And they got real rude with me when i asked about a toilet problem..

Everything seemed a little overpriced and the thin mattresses need to be updated. Room service was excellent and a toothbrush was brought to my room within minutes after my request. Atrium was beautiful.

Great staff, very nice. Desperately needs a makeover - for $160/night I would expect higher quality. Better off at the newer Fairfield close to the shopping area.

the bathrooms were very small , my kids got a rash from swimming in the pool , the food o my was gross, they should know that not everyone can eat onions or mushrooms!!the beds were ok i have slept on better. When we 1st arrived and checked in , we went to our room and the tolit was running and keep running had to call front desk to send someone to fix it.needless to say i have had alot better...

Room was OK but food overpriced and the food quality was poor. The hotel refused to do anything about the lack of quality of the food. The General Manager refused any assistance. Suprising for a Marriott Hotel.

Christmas of 2004, my place of employment failed to respect the state of emergeny that was issued by Indiana during the worst snowstorm that I have seen in my 52 years. We had over 21 inches of snow in Southern Indiana which is not equipped to deal with more than a 3 inch accumulation. We were trapped in the Post Office and the last of us finally got fed up and walked out on them. Some kind individual dropped us off at the Marriot which is in front of our Postal Distribution Site. We walked in at 2:30 a.m., the staff provided us with wonderful rooms, drinks, and other necessry items. They were absolutely wonderful and very accomodating. They gave us government rates, and were not overly concerned with our method and time of payment (luckily, I had a credit card). The next day, their marketing manager came in and personally took me home in his four wheel drive which was quite a distance from their hotel. I live in Newburgh In. I felt sooooo safe, very comfortable, and did not have to worry about major bill accumulation. The staff was friendly and I felt like I was at home. I always stay at courtyards on vacation. Marriot is absolutely awesome because of their great staff!

The hotel is OK - a refurbished Radisson. NOT worth the rates.
