Ramada Convention Center I-Drive, Orlando

DONT EVEN THINK OF STAYING AT THIS DIVE. WE PAID FOR A 3 NIGHT STAY 2 MONTHS AHEAD OF TIME AN THEY STILL GAVE OUR ROOM AWAY AN LEFT US IN THE COLD WITH 2 SMALL KIDS. AFTER TALKING WITH THE MAIN RAMADA BOSSES THEY SAID THE OWNER COULD DO WHAT HE WANTED AN AFTER I WENT TO SEE THE PLACE IM GLAD WE DIDNT STAY THERE . WHAT A CRAPHOLE MOVE ON TO THE NEXT LISTING OR IF YOU NEED THAT AREA STAY AT EMBASSY SUITES, A COMPANY WHO KNOWS HOW TO TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. SHAWN KUESTER ...WISCONSIN

This is a great family oriented hotel. My 3 small kids (7,9,12) vacationed there in July, 2009. The hot continental breakfast was good each day but you need to get up early to find a table. The hotel is situated in a good area - next to all of the good restaurants and shopping centers. You do not really need a car just take the bus or the I-trolley on International Drive. The hotel is very homelike without all the unnecessary frills. My kids enjoyed the pool and the breakfast each day and I found our room to be very good, obviously there was some upgrading after the above review. I would suggest that management considers a shuttle bus service to and from the Orlando Airport because of the distance and also shuttle service to the Theme Parks - this would prove helpful considering the hotel sells the Theme park tickets. (Maybe you can consider teaming up with other area hotels for this - such as La Quinta and Days Inn that are close by). The staff was very friendly but the telephone messaging system needs to be checked because I never received any of the messages that were left for me. Overall my kids and I enjoyed our vacation and our stay at Ramada and we will definitely stay there again
