Holiday Inn Express Lake Buena Vista, Orlando

Room was great, pool was great, food was fantastic. Shuttle to parks was a horrid mess & filty/with /half of the seats on the floor! Shuttle driver was FANTASTIC & FRIENDLY though. One front desk person "Matt WAS VERY RUDE & ARROGANT...he was very unapproachable as well. He told us that he had nothing to do/w/the ticket counter altho Craig gave us a paper/w/Craigs name on it. I overheard Matt telling another customer that the ticket booth could save them alot of $$ & gave him a paper/w/his name on it. The ticket booth woman was quick, rushed us & offered a small amount of discount IF we went to the 90 min time share tour. (which when we called they would not mention the time share tour but stated that they could save us $100+ NOT!) Although she did alert us that it was less expensive to get tickets at the park if we chose not to do the tour. Thank you very much. If it was not for Matt & the dissappointment of the 'savings' on the tickets it would have been great. All in all it is a very nice hotel. Just have to educate Matt as to better customer service skills. Also realizing nothing can be done about this but the abandoned hotel next door is very unsigtly & takes alot away from your hotel appearance.

We came to this location last November due to Walk Across Florida XX, and again for a Army Aviation Pilots Reunion just up the street. As a Priority Club Member this will be the only place that we will stay while in the Orlando/Disney area. Great Room, Great Food, and very nice Staff. Keep up the wonderful job, WE will return!

The place was clean that is a plus. The bathroom was small for a family of 4 trying to get ready in the morning. The pool a little small but the kids loved the slide and water fall. The breakfast was plenty and it does get busy after 8am. The staff was nice. There is a building next door that is closed so it makes the hotel look bad but no problems. will stay there again.

The function of our trip was to visit Disney. We had a car to travel. With that being said, this hotel more than met our needs for making our trip successful. The location was supreme. It is 1/4 of a mile to the Disney Eastside property entrance. The distance to each park varied. From hotel lot to park turnstile (approx.) Typhoon Lagoon - 5 min, Downtown Disney - 5 min, Hollywood - 5 min, Blizzard Beach - 5 min, Epcot - 10 min, Animal Kingdom 15 min, Magic Kingdom - 30 min. There are approx. 15 restaurants within walking distance - connected by parking lots. The rooms were very clean, the ice machine worked well, the fridge was a blessing (note - our fridge did not have a freezer component), and the bathrooms were fine in size. (I get the impression that previous Tripadvisor reviewers have never been to Europe with their complaint about the size of the bathroom.) The breakfast had an extensive variety of choices, it was well staffed and nothing ever ran out. We did notice that the breakfast crowd did thicken past 8am. The staff was quiet yet resourceful, never pushy. Access to free internet was used. There never was a wait to access the internet. The pool was small but clean and uncrowded. Towels were available for use at the pool. There is a housekeeping option to skip stripping down the sheets as a conservation effort. That was nice. We were looking for an affordable, clean, safe, proximal location to Disney. We knew that we would not be spending much time at the hotel. The time that we did spend there was smooth, safe, spotless and exceeded our needs. We have been singing their praises ever since our return. THANK YOU!

The place was clean. Front office,cafe (breakfast),gift shop and other department staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. I do not need to eat my lunch after that. Except the bathroom in our 2Q bed room is a little bit small. We have young kids and hard to turn when we are helping them to take bath. Other than that. This hotel was great and will come back next time.

The front desk person wasn't very friendly. After checking in, she sent me to another desk...a sales person for a timeshare... should have been asked...more junk mail. The attraction - the waterslide/waterfall was out of service 3 of the 4 days...of all weekends...the 4th of July. How disappointing! There is construction of another building next door... the view from the balcony with plastic chairs and table...what renovation? when? We found a bug in the closet...shook off everything before packing to come home. Giftshop smelled stale/cigar, too expensive, and too much junk! Cafeteria too cold to eat in for breakfast, however, great selection. Would definitely not recommend or stay here again!

The hotel was clean and service was good. The elevator was out of service one morning and by the end of the day it was fixed. The room was a nice size - perfect for a couple. If you like the dressing vanity outside of the bathroom - you won't like this room. The beds are a little on the hard side, but the linens were clean and soft. The location is great - you can get to any disney park in about 10 min and you are actually about 1/2 mile to the entrance to disney property. Word of advice - when you check in they will send you to a booth pushing time shares, they will recommend a restaurant called the "Carving Station" - stay away - what a rip off - for a pary of 2 at a buffet they add the tip to the bill. For a pary of two - where we got our own food - no dessert - they added an $8.62 tip. I tip good - but that was a little much for a buffet. Also the food was horrible. All in all - I would stay there again and I am pretty picky about hotels.

A very nice place to stay, clean ,freindly employees and close to everthing I wanted to see . the managment has the right to proud of the job they're doing. see you in february

We stayed here for a total of 9 nights and were happy for the following reasons: 1) comfort (clean, good service, quiet, etc) 2) location close to Disney (about 20 mins stroll to Downtown Disney) 3) free shuttle to Epcot and free breakfast. The breakfast is good. 4) we bought our Disney tickets from the hotel (discount attraction counter) 5) close proximity to many restaurants all within walking distance from 2 mins. 6) wireless internet connection 7) laundry facility (2 washers and 2 dryers). Note 1: $1.75 for each wash and dry. 75c each for detergent and softener. Though I think you may need 2 ($3.50) dry cycle to dry the clothings. Note 2: breakfast only opens in the morning between 6:30am and 9:30am. It gets very crowded from 8:30 onwards. One free parking spot although we didn't need it. What more do you need and what more can you ask after a day at Disney or any other places you may visit.

I liked the high beds, the pool area is great and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast was wonderful, the Hotel is in the perfect area. I really love this facility.
