Gallery ONE Fort Lauderdale - a DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel, Fort Lauderdale

Gallery One Hotel Revisited I stayed here in May for a week and enjoyed my visit. The location is fantastic as it is within walking distance from Galleria Mall with its shops and restaurants and just five minutes walk to the beach, I hardly used my rental car. There is Publix and a CVS across the road, and as the Hotel is right on the river, you can watch the yachts go by from the heated pool. There is also a water taxi service, which was fantastic for visiting the Boat Show, as the trip there was a boat show in itself. The valet service has vastly improved and now you can call from your suite, a few minutes in advance, and your car is waiting at the Hotel door for you. Now that´s service ! The restaurant is good value for money and the inside and outside bars were both well stocked. I ate at the bar one evening at 10.30 pm and it was was an enjoyable meal. The staff were friendly before, but they are even friendlier now and always very courteous. It is was like coming home. I had a spacious two bedroom suite with a living room, that was well appointed and spotlessly clean, with three big flat screen TV´s. Gallery One has all of the services of a good Hotel with suite accommodation. In comparison it makes staying in a normal Hotel room rather cramped and I am now converted to only booking suites in the future. In my opinion this Hotel represents excellent value for money it has the best location in Ft. Lauderdale. Well done to all at Gallery One.

The location is perfect! The views are awesome! The service is great! And to top it all off, the warm cookies on arrival were delicious! Some of the best cookies I've had. I highly recommend this hotel for everyone. The water taxi is so convenient and takes you to the beach on Las Olas and other places as well. The mall is walking distance. What more can you ask for?

Second time staying at this hotel, but it had a total make over and looked fab. Great for local mall shopping, walk to the beach, staff very friendly, and the cookies to die for.

The hotel was the most beautiful hotel I have ever been in. I am a very frequent traveller and I was floored that this was Doubletree. Although we don't like to pay for parking, it gave the mirage that you were staying in a fancy hotel. Then check in was great, because the two agents at the deskwere from NY and they knew where I came from so, it made you feel like home. The room was the most mouth opener. I was again floored with the room, the kitchen appliances, the flat screen tv's, and last, but not least, the balcany views. That is where I spent most of the time, on the balcany. I had a view of the pool right below me and a view of the water. It really was exquisite. As of this date, I am planning more trips to that hotel.

Everything was wonderful, especially the chocolate chip cookie that they give you upon arrival. The room was more than we expected. Everything was clean and well decorated. The beds were very comfortable. Also, the kitchen area was convenient, allowing us to cook a few meals at the suite. The only thing I disliked was the $11 - $14 fee per day for parking. Overall, we had a great experience!
