Ideally situated on Nathan Road , this deluxe hotel is only a five-minute walk away from the Star Ferry , whilst the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station is literally next door. Asian and Western cuisine are the mainstays at the hotel restaurants. To add a distinct touch, the hotel reputedly has its own Feng Shui expert. Not surprisingly, the hotel design has been influenced with doors and furniture carefully placed to ensure good luck.

Awesome Hotel

Could not fault it ! Excellent rooms, food and staff. Make sure that you visit the champagne bar for live music in the evening and the pool area for lunch at the grill and a swim

Excellent Hotel!
By Cutesproul, 12/17/05
A very nice hotel, with excellent view from the room. Recommended for honeymooners. Magnificent harbor views, excellent leisure and fitness facilities - including the largest outdoor pool in Hong Kong, fine cuisine, first class entertainment and elegantly decorated, spacious & highly comfortable guest rooms

Exceptionally comfortable stay
By Chris, 10/15/05
Having a 3 week business trip to Hong Kong I was dreading the long stay in a hotel. However, the Grand Hyatt provided an increadibly comfortable residence for the duration. The hotel restaurants are great - Grissini (Italian) and One Harbour Road (Chinese) are both very much worth a visit - although not for the budget traveller. And being located so near to Wan Chai there are also a huge number of other restaurants near the hotel. It is also only a short taxi ride from Central and the night life of Lan Kwai Fong. For weekends the outside pool area is a great place to wind down, although unfortunately the pool itself closes at sunset (which was 6pm during my stay). The staff were exceptionaly polite, attentive and helpful and along with the great atmosphere helped to make this a very enjoyable visit to Hong Kong.

great view!
By Tavis, 5/31/05
While you need to walk a few minutes if you want to take the MTR, getting anywhere by cab or ferry is easy. The service is incredible and the views are spectacular. If you decide to stay at this hotel, I recommend getting a room overlooking the harbour. If you're looking for something romantic, a suite with harbour view is the way to go.

Very Nice Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/13/05
We were at a convention at the Hyatt. The location is great. Close to the Star Ferry and the Metro rail. It had a roomy room which can be hard to find in China. Had a desk in the room, and I think even a fax and internet access. There is a business center downstairs in the convention center which you can use the internet for free. Had a nice view from the pool. The maid service was very good and the beds were comfortable with a cushy mattress which can be hard to find in China also. We had a garden view from our room but I am sure you could get a harbour view. The hotel had a nice bar with entertainment and they had live music in the restaurant in the lobby. Many nice restaurants there. I wouldn't hestitate to recommend this hotel to anyone!! There was a refrig in the room also.

Hotel for today
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/17/04
My recent stay there was wonderful, very friendly staff, good service, lots of different restaurant. I like the new Spa and the 50M outdoor heated pool, just like a oasis in the middle of the city. Regular room size are a bit small but the suite are very stylish. Rooms are designed for business purpose, simple and contemp.
