Country Inn & Suites Maingate is located at the Calypso Cay resort complex, three miles from Walt Disney World® Resort, and approximately 18 miles from Orlando International Airport. needs work!

After staying at the Country Inn and Suites in Tampa, this Country Inn was a huge disappointment. The bath towels were old and grey, the sheets the same. Blood was on one of the pillow cases! Ugh! Carpets were old and dirty...needs a good cleaning and vacuuming! Bath tub was dirty!!! Hotel lobby floor was dirty. Breakfast was ok. Hotel staff was friendly and the pools were ok, although bark from the landscaping was in one of the pools.

Never book here!

Place is old and tried. Walls need paint, carpets dirty, furniture is dirty and wore out. Might be a $50.00 an night motel, but not a $100.00 per night place. Oh yes the swiming are cold.

Awesome Place

This was a very nice place to stay. My kids loved the pool the staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was very good. The waterslide was perfect for my kids.

Had stayed at the Amerisuites previously,shared area, great hotel, the breakfast is great and saves money when you go in a group like we did, six of us.

Good value, clean and tidy. Compl. breakfast have lots of choices. Close to shopping places like Walmart and outlet malls. Nice smimmig pools. Nice and Relax.

Great family hotel - low prices

The hotel is setup well for Orlando family visits. Good pool with a slide and putt-putt golf as well. Rooms are large and kept clean. Free buffet breakfast in the morning. No problems.........

Beautiful, clean, safe!

All the hotel's employees were wonderful! The room was spotlessly cleaned everyday. Pool areas were welcoming and very user friendly- not overcrowded, very clean, lots of clean towels. I was very very satisfied and will return again and again. Scuba lessons at the pool!! My 9yr old loved that!!! We even added a day to our stay because we were enjoying the atmosphere so much!

Nice Family Spot

We loved the pool area at this hotel. It was easy to get to, and not to far from the main attractions. The room was quiet, but could use a little fixing up. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Wonderful family vacation

The hotel room was very clean with windows that actually opened for fresh air circulation & maid service came in every day to freshen the room. The pool and patio area was fantastic for all to enjoy. I had a hard time getting my son out of the pool. Also available was a nice playground area and a putt-putt course for the families to play on. Conveniently located to many restaurants and close to the Disney attractions. We would definately return to this resort again!

Beautiful Property, Great Price, Close to Theme Parks!

My husband and I spent one evening at this hotel. The suite was very comfortable and spacious. We had a king bed, separate living area, 2 TV's, Microwave and Refrigerator. The room was very clean (there was a spare blanket in the closet that had something funky on it??). The shower floor is very slippery and had lower than normal water pressure. The staff was friendly other than the security (took the rent a cop thing a little too seriously). Continental Breakfast was nice. The pool was beautiful, but closed at 11PM sharp (most hotels I have stayed at are more relaxed and leave the pool open longer for adult guests). I believe the pool is shared with another hotel property (Amerisuites?). We paid $50.00 a night, so it was a great deal. They also upgraded our room for free. None of the negatives would dissuade me from staying here again. They are just somethings I wanted to note for other picky people like me. It was a great place to stay for the money!
