i wouldn't stay here again

the room smelled like smoke. not cleaned, the phone was sticky. the outside was bad looking. the staff wasn't nice. several bugs under the sink. there was dirty dishes and hard beds. the breakfest wasn't great.they ran out of orange juice. they had ran out of ceral too. i wouldn't stay here again.

great place to stay

my husband and i had gone for only the weekend. we were pleasantly surprised with the room. it was very nice. the entire place was very very clean. the bed was so comfortable, we slept great. we were very impressed. the staff is very friendly. i would definately go back. the location is great, close to everything. our overall experience was very good. thanks for a nice stay.

Needs Some Help

This motel, although rather new, was pathetic to say the least. Unvacuumed floors, wallpaper border hanging off the walls, broken tiles, an inch of dust on the refrigerator,and stains to give you scary thoughts. Got stuck and stayed there again a few months later for 2 nights. Same thing. Told the staff and they took off $20 total for the 2 nights. I wrote corporate and they did contact me and offered me a free night and an apology. When I stayed for that I was told by the staff..."well you shouldn't complain about anything THIS time..you got it free!" There are much better places to stay in Dubuque!

Dont Stay Here.....

My experience with this motel was not good. I checked in and checked out all within an hours time. The idea of a suite with a kitchen and sitting area is great----but this place doesnt cut it. The staff was not very friendly and the room was terrible. The furniture and carpet was stained, worn and looked very dirty! The whole room smelled like "fried fish". The only good thing was that they didnt charge me for cancelling the reservation! Horrible! I would recommend this place to no one!

It's GREAT to stay in a new hotel!

Wonderful place to stay in Dubuque. The staff is friendly and efficient. Large contintental breakfast and newspapers provided is a great amenity. Technology available in all the rooms. Mini kitchens in the room makes it easy to call this "home" for a couple of days or a month. Thank you MainStay - Dubuque.
