horrible experience never again will we stay here
By ,
room key continued to not work, even after changing rooms, not just once or twice but we are on our 5th set of keys card and our second room as of right now. thank god we leave tomorrow. Pool closed due to some anniversary function so we could not use it till after 6, yet it closes at 9 and the spa where you get your pool towels closes at 7 does this make sense. And the registration staff has the nerve to blame us for our room trouble, yet maintenance and security says the key card are cheap and this is a continuous problem. And the people we meet in the halls while we wait for maintenance are having the same key problems we are, so it is not just us or our fault. this has been a nightmare of an experience. oh and their free internet sucks. wont always connect, and is extremely slow.

Very Nice!
By ,
We were here on a special offer. Going to see Kelly Clarkson. We were pleasantly surprised at what a nice hotel this is! Nice updated rooms. Casino was small and intimate and the machines paid well. We had a blast! Food at the River Front Cafe was really good too. Staff was very nice and helpful. The only thing was....the sink faucet was really hard to use, and there is no room service. We will stay here again. We really enjoyed this nice hotel. Oh and right on the River. Nice view if you're looking!

Loved it
By ,
Beautiful decor,Staff was very friendly & Helpful. River view was nice and took kids to the outdoor ice skating rink near by. Had a problem with the late night service at a Cafe there Waitress was rude and service very slow. So Next night ate elsewhere in town. Overall would return there on our next trip. We go to Reno frequently and I really liked this hotel and did good in their Casino also :):):)Walking distance to the main area where the other casino's are!!!

Not worth it!
By ,
My husband and I stayed last week and to say the least was very disappointed. We ate at both restaurants and staff was rude and unknowledgable. We heard great things from the fine dining restaurant- DAvincis, but was extremely disappointed. We were told the steaks were prime grade, they were NOT! The casino floor looked horrible...bad lighting, dealers looked like they were bored to death, and machines were the tightest we've evre seen. Even though the rooms were nice it won't be enough a return visit.

Nice Remodel but unfriendly service
By ,
We are locals. We parked at the Siena and went in and gambled for a bit. Then we wanted to go to the Cal Neva for a bit to meet up with some friends, then back to the Siena. We all had sweatshirts as we locals know, when the sun goes down, it gets rather chilly here. As we left and started walking to the Cal Neva, a security guard asked if we were taking the car with us. I told him what our plans were. He accused us of parking there to attend the Reno Aces game because we had sweatshirts. I explained what our plans were. He said we were 'under surveillance' so they knew we were lying!! And he also said we were told when we parked that we would have to leave-no one ever said anything to us! Needless to say, we moved the car. We don't go downtown very often, and now it will be even less, due to this incident. We had high hopes for the Siena reopening.....now not so sure.......

Big Improvement
By ,
We stayed at the Siena recently after their remodel, and I was nothing but impressed. Our room was beautiful with a gorgeous view of the river and downtown area. The staff was friendly and eager to please. Although the casino was a little smaller than some of the others, it was easy to get around, and the service was spectacular. The sushi at Sushi Saga was some of the best I've ever had! I'll definitely be back.

Friendly Staff
By ,
We stayed in a suite which was large and spacious, however, the outlets didn't work, the TV didn't work all of which were quickly fixed by the staff. The food was subpar we tried it once and then never again. The slot machines do not pay off so we gambled else where. The casino is small. However, the views of the river were fabulous. I felt this hotel/casino was to far off the beaten path and not worth the additional cost to stay.

Attention
By ,
I over heard the GM telling employees, how he disliked all people and employees! It was incredible. I felt sorry for the employees who had to deal with that. They r not ready to be in business, not attentive to customers,(some employees are) but all complained that they were working for Hitler! The rooms even thou redecorated were cheaply done, and nothing worked! The front desk did not know how to respond to all the complaints,( not their fault) but when management was called it, things got even worse. I talked to several other patrons all having the same experience. Advice" take your business elsewhere" The Peppermill in Reno is awesome! and less expensive!

A reat find!
By ,
We didn't spend the night, but decided to check out this newly remodeled casino. The lobby and casino floor was attractive and clean. Next tried the lower level wine bar....a nice assortment of wine, live jazz band....no disappointment. Decided to try the Da Vinci for Sunday Brunch....the food and service was amazing! A great deal! Not sure why other reviews are negative...we really liked the atmosphere and want to stay next time we visit Reno.
